My replacement PNP also did not have an o ring in the GPonG, I figured it was a mistake. I actually like it better because ,like @BarnBoy said, you can push the glass liner down onto the screen or whatever you have over your bullet. I am using lotus fine screens and they fit perfectly over the bullet. Pushing the GPonG down holds these screens in perfectly.

There is no question that sandwiching wax in a standard bullet is far more effective than the FMJ (although I do think the taste was more pronounced with the FMJ). Plenty of clouds and taste and not nearly as harsh as flower, despite the higher heat.

Another night confirms the superiority of a little cotton and a standard bullet. However, it's time for another dumb question...

How do you know when the wax is spent? The taste disappears? You stop getting vapor? Or do I keep going until the cotton is dry, as mentioned by @Gray Area? Interruptions have prevented me from trying to kill a load on both nights of testing. Just trying to decide if I should fire up this load again on my next opportunity or yank the sticky wad out and start fresh.

I usually go til it quits vaping. then pull it out, pull the cotton apart a couple of times and put it back in for a couple more hits. repeat until it's futile. This re-configures the air path so it can hit other areas of the cotton.

well @GrilledGoat , i'm at the 7th week now.

sigh, it's very frustrating. i get a respond, then i don't. and promised sent, but didn't arrived, no tracking number, and was told to be send again, and then no tracking number, sigh, one week after another week.

i wonder why does it take so long to pack one vaporizer and ship it out?
i envy @BarnBoy , anyone else shares his success story?

i'm really wondering how long more will i get to vapor again, really missing my PNP.

ughh..have a urge to just jump to a smoke shop and grab any vaporizer, really can't stand smoking again since i started vaporizing months ago.

and this 3-months-breaking-down-PNP-with-10-seconds-heating-light-but-no-heat-problem seems to be quite common. has anyone since got a new replacement and after 3 months breaks down again?

and do we get an extension time for the warranty since it took so long for the vaporizer to be replaced? (i'm foreseeing another 4 weeks till they pack it up, send and reaches me, so that's like almost 12 weeks without my vaporizer)

i've been reading the earlier post in this forum, PNP does have some flaws here and there, and some angry users. PNP is my first vaporizer, and I'm wondering how are the other vaporizer in comparison from taste, durability and with that price, what else options do i have?

i really like PNP for it's water tool. any other similar vaporizer that have that functionality?

@ashingtray There is no such thing as a 100% reliable vape, even the MFLB does break.
Best thing is a second vape for variety and different circumstances. Read some more about the options available to you and don't just buy the first you see.

It's sad that I am using a $35 dollar pen vape instead of my PnP now because my PNP either won't heat up or when it does it only lasts 10 mins. Pen vape lasts 4-6 hours. I wish they would fix all the battery issues, if you send the battery back to vaporblunt do they give you a new STYLE battery? or are they still installing the same batteries that they shipped with? because i don't want another 3 month battery. I want a good quality battery

Arizer Solo seems to big and heavy for stealthy. I'm considering maybe getting a Ploom as my second unit. any complains with Ploom? i heard Life-time Warranty.

really enjoyed my first PNP, intereted to know how different other vaporizer taste like.

besides Solo, any other vaporizer that is stealthy and has the waterbong function as PNP, or PNP stands up in the list with the water tool functionality.

Other than that I'm really loving the elongated glass stem, but i rarely use it as is. It just simplifies the process of attaching a whip, which I almost exclusively do. Exceptions of course being public vaping haha.

I have found that my technique for vaping old school hash, where I wrap the hash in raw papers and throw it in to a herb bullet works really well with the high end Morrocan import hashes, and I've been rediscovering my love for these old school hashes... It is simply the best sleeping aid and pain medication! But def not a day time toke, nor one for the creative sessions or philosophical conversations. This is just for relaxing. High end weed strains as my go to daily medication, and then when it's time to sleep - morrocan hash. Gah, I wish the "headier" afghan hashes were still available like they were, I bet they would be perfect for vaping this way.

Rolling a hash ball of 0.2 - 0.3 g (these are not as "concentrated" as modern US hashes, wakes etc.) I was initially worried about not getting enough exposed surface area, but it seems that is not as necessary with these types of hashes. The whole lump seems to have been heated up rather evenly, when I examine it afterwards. On level 4 I get really big, exotic tasting clouds out of almost all of the hashes I've tried this technique with - from blond to black and all inbetween. It is as if I can taste the soil upon which the plants where originally grown. Very pleasing to a connoisseur!

I have also been borrowing a FireFly for some days now. This was originally a vape that I was drooling over, due to it's sleek design and seemingly solid materials. It is a really good vape, once you get the technique down, but I feel it is better for smaller medication oriented functioning buzzes, where as our beloved PnP is a complete MONSTER. PnP fuuuucks you up, your first time or your 500th time. Plus I like being able to "mod" it. When I use it as a whip style vape I can almost empty bullets in the sense there is no more vapor left, with out the taste bothering me. I really enjoy PUFFING, being a former spliff man. Pluss I feel like I get the whole spectrum of actives that way, not just the high. (yes, probably some shit I don't need as well, but hey, it beats smoking).

The FireFly on the other hand seem like it is better suited for folks who like a small pipe to take a toke or two, and then enjoy the effects for a relatively short period of time, where as the PnP is for the hardcore stoner crowd who like to do sessions, and gradually build a complex high.

I like `em both, but man oh man do I love my PnP Really glad I bought it as my first vape!

Edit: @BarnBoy Wow, I skipped the page with your comparison, saw it, and now you made me want a new vape. I was considering getting a Pax (even though those fudgepackers won't ship em to Europe gaaaah) as a second portable, due to it's sleek design, durability and warranty. As a second portable I want a steady vape, with out all these issues that come along with being early adopters. Do you think the Pax will fit my requirements more, or would the Inhalater05 be a good choice for me? I'm a heavy user.

Yeah, but from the little I can gather I think I'll go "mainstream" and get the Pax, and just let the PnP be my little toy that I can play around with, and let the Pax be my backup. Then maybe time will tell which one I will prefer as an around the house vape, and which one I'll use for on the go. I have an old DBV at home, that I got from some one who owed me money and didn't really vape, but the whole danger of blowing bud onto the heating rod is to much for me. I usually share with my GF, and we laugh a lot. Who needs a vaporizer you can't use while laughing anywhere near the MP?!? When using it alone I have no issues though, so it's an ok backup to have. Maybe I should mod it with some extra screens or whatever, but I'm really not a fan, and also I prefer the portables... I'm drooling on the Herbalizer though, but I'm also drooling on the new Mercedes S class if you know what I mean haha

I'm looking in to the whole Liquidizer thing, since herbal vaporizers almost always are a bit of a hassle on the go, compared to joints. Now, this whole making your own BHO (my only option really, except maybe SilkRoad) and turning it into e-cig liquid on the other hand...

I originally bought the PnP (my first vape) for portability reasons, but I rarely just put it in my pocket and go. If i bring it with me it is in a e-cig case with the brush and bullets etc, and then I use it inside. You know, friends places, hotels etc.

So my PNP's battery seems to have failed. I can charge it to full but the minute it reaches temperature it starts flashing blue and then reports a dead battery.

Anyone who has gone through the battery replacement process with VB want to give me an idea what it was like?

^^ This. I'm in (almost) the same boat. I can still get through a session on level 1 or 2, but the second session only lasts for about 3 minutes max before I get a dead battery.

I don't mind sending it in for battery replacement, but I'd also consider a DIY solution too (though I can't say I'm incredibly skilled in that kind of work, but know some who are).

It hasn't bothered me too greatly since I can get where I need in that 10-12 minutes, and, if truly necessary, can plug in to a (somewhat) nearby outlet if I have to. I would just rather not have to.

01. Yes, just take any US > UK plug (just be safe and get one with a fuse even though it's not required) and it works fine, no blowing up your PnP, the UK plug fuse would prevent in most cases anyway

03. I use an Anker 10.000MaH clone which has the same output, which is a max of 2.1a.
It's significantly slower than the wall adapter and it can't be used as pass-through.
I have not found any USB ports that do the required 3 amps. (It's not even possible within the USB standards) (The battery packs listed as 3a are adding the 2 ports together)

However I have not yet tried using an Y cable to add the amps of the 2 ports together, let me try that and get back to you!

You actually need to have them in parallel, you want more capacity(3a) at the same voltage (5v), series would give you double the voltage, and considering USB is always 5v that'd be a bad idea

I've just ordered one so I'll see whether this battery pack can properly deliver the 3a@5v (Anker Astro 3E clone)

For a long time my Pinnacle Pro was my daily driver so I always had to make sure it was charged or charging whenever possible. My first battery pack was an Astro E3

Combining the Anker Astro E3 ports with a USB Y cable does not work by the way, I also need to correct myself on the charging time. I just took some cabling and a multimeter and had a look how many amps it's using while charging.

When using the 2.1a USB port it will use about 0.9a when charging, this is the same as using the wall adapter so the speed should not be affected. When using just the 1a port it is only pulling 0.5a so that would take longer so beware of which port you use.
Using the ports in parallel did not increase the usage when charging, which makes sense as it also uses 0.9a using the wall adaptor.
It also did not help to use it while charging, it still doesn't have enough amps (I couldn't measure this my cheap multimeter messed up when it peaked)
