I really need to get that pong for my pinnacle. I packed a bullet today and when i tell you this thing has never hit harder i mean it. It was producing clouds like my solo does.
How i packed it: Grinded up some weed the other night so its been in the grinder since saturday night and left in a drawer of i guess room temp (take that however you feel (in terms of dryness)) Scoop and tamp until bullet full. Then take a bobby pin and just pack down LOOSELY do that until it is where the bullet opens up and then top it off with kief. I have the og pinnacle and this thing was performing like my solo on 4

WOO-HOOOOO, got it for the $199 mass drop, now all we need is 20 more in the next 3 days for the $155 drop. I'm ecstatic already, PN PRO and water tool on the way.

Does it handle wax better than the VB2?
VB2 is too airy for my liking. Hits arent full/strong enough even with good product.

They need to bundle that $50 water tool deal as an option with the Pinnacle Pro Massdrop. They could have a little drop-down box on the sign-up page where you could opt to pay an extra $50 when commiting to the drop, and then get shipped a water tool along with your PP.
Why bother with this when TRVB has such cheap shipping and people could just order the WT directly from them for $50 plus $5 shipping? Well, because TRVB only really ship to US, Canada and the UK, so anyone outside those locations can't really buy the water tool deal. Making it a drop option would open it up to extra, otherwise-missed customers, sweeten the pot on the PP drop deal, and might be the push the drop needs to get another 20 commited and reach the lowest price of US$155 per unit.
Also, since TRVB said the reason he's doin the WT deal in the first place is because he wants to see it in the hands of more people, I don't see why he only makes it available to a limited audience. If you're not willing to ship goods to those of us outside your three preferred destinations, why not let Massdrop do it for you? Everybody wins, right?

Hey Tweek, when your a cellphone, tablet, bluetooth headphone, e-cig, and multi-other-usb chargeable objects user these things come in handy. Not to mention that when I like to unplug from all that crap, besides the vapes of course, and get away into the woods I've got 18 plus sessions from the Pinnacle to help me stay in touch with nature!

Fair enough. Personally, I love when all that stuff dies on me, and I have to leave it at home...so I would only use it for the pro, and at that price, it's just not worth it for me. I generally bring a lighter based unit into the woods...this way, I don't worry too much about losing it, or dropping it in water and whatnot. But I hear ya, especially if someone needs more of a punch, that the pro seems to deliver (waiting to try mine
)

Brand new to all of this, but just ordered my Pinnacle Pro last night. I'm hoping this will be an alternative to the pain pills & muscle relaxers I take daily for herniated discs. I'm not looking to use this for recreation, but if I can use this just enough to stay comfortable, that would be great. I've only smoked once before, and even though I think I swallowed more than I inhaled, I was able to skip my pills and be more active than the days I take them. I've read through all 63 pages here over the last few days & have a couple questions. First, what is the official recommended way of cleaning the pro? It sounds like some people like using ISO, but I've read it can ruin the plastic. And second, I'm looking for any advice you can pass on to someone who's never done this before. I know I need a grinder, but any tips anyone can share from start to finish would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The hits are super wispy with concentrates and the fmj. I barely feel like I'm getting a hit (although I do feel pretty medicated afterwards). The PnP's strong point is herbs. Would definitely get a dedicated pen too.

You don't need a grinder. I use bonsai trimming scissors.
For cleaning the mp & PonG I get water to just start boiling in a tea kettle then pour that into a coffee mug. I drop the mp & PonG in to soak for a minute and then brush them off with the wire brush that came with the PnP. Works good for me.
For the PnP chamber I get a Q-tip and barely dampen it with iso. Then I turn the pro on and wipe it out while it is on and hot. Then I come back in with dry q-tips to get any residue that was left behind. Then I leave the PnP on for the rest of the eight minute cycle to finish burning off whatever.

Really like the feel of it in my hands, nice form factor
I have tried it with a few loads so far and I find that coming from the Solo the taste is different and vapor output is less.
However I get nicely medicated off fairly small loads. I can use the same as a shorty Solo stem on level 2 and 3 and get nice enough clouds and tasty vapor. Although as others have said its hot on my lips with the mouthpiece, so I prefer using the PonG.
At level 3 I used the PNWT and it was like a match made in heaven. They feel really comfortable together and I get some good hits at level 4.
Still lots of testing to be done but I like its stealth and portability, and so will take over the portable spot from the Solo most probably.
Although the Solo will still have it's place for sure on my desktop with Power adaptor.
Very pleased with my purchase.

This is correct. because of the high current rates the heater requires, if we tied battery into it to allow a boost, it's possible to over discharge the battery and damage/destroy the unit. Hence, when plugged in power is only pulled from the source, and not the battery.

@GSH I start at 3 and bump up to 4 but I do like higher temps than most. I don't feel that heating up to a higher level and dropping down one makes a difference for me. So I heat up to 3, once the lights stop flashing I rip it, which are like level 2 hits for a few mins as the heat hasn't penetrated the bullet fully, then I hit it at actual level 3 temp until the vapor thins out, then 4 to finish. 4 doesn't taste great but hold onto your seat if you decide to try it. I hope that all makes sense, my brain isn't at it's peak at the minute.

That makes perfect sense thanks for the tips, I think I am going to have a go on 3 from the get go now. I was finding that level 2 isn't cloudy enough, and not quite hitting the spot until later into the session.
Strange because the same temps on the Solo make me cough...
I must say though I am blitzed, visible vapour or not. I fell asleep for an hour earlier in the middle of the day! It is definitely working its magic...

pretty much you just put the FMJ into it heat it up to the highest setting and let the it heat soak for a minute then drop your wax or w.e into it. personally the vapor production for oil is really low but with the WT it gets you medicated but not much vapor unless its over a slow 15 second inhale.
