Am I missing something here? I like everthing I read about this except for the 50 minute battery capacity. Is 50 minutes adequate for a portable? I'm certain my Da Vinci gets better mileage than that. Was going to pull the trigger on an Ascent but thankfully held off on that, so now looking for another portable, Solo looks great but not as portable as I'd like so have been intrigued by this product, but only 50 minutes battery? I don't know, would like the early adaptors to post about battery performance. Tnx.

I have been using it for 2 months and I can count the times it's been dead on one hand. Size= battery life + heat up time. To make one fascist better you must sacrifice one of the other two.

I know this question is always frowned upon but can someone give me a quick comparison between the pax and the pro? The ascent lost my business for obvious reasons and I'm trying to justify the pro over the pax despite the pros short battery life. I know cleaning the pax is an issue but what else sets the pro apart? Thanks in advance

I can't help much with the Pax comparison, but the Pinnacle requires vary little maintenance or cleaning. The bullet system on the pinnacle is also something that sets the two apart. I can't speak for others, but I really like the bullets and think it's a great design.

The bullet is the part I was most on the fence about, as it can be considered another thing to carry around, potentially complicating portability. On the plus side they're not made of aluminum, and everyone that has used them seems to like them. And pre-loaded bullets can be seen as actually simplifying things when on the move as well. The talk of glass bullets also intrigues me, as does the included ti oil can.

The bullets are a great design. You're repacked in seconds. Can't do that with a pax. They are small and clean super easy in an ISO soak. Can be a hot potato to handle though when taken out right after a session.

I would just like to congratulate VB on another (so far) flawless launch of a new product. I wish some other companies would take notice of how it should be done. When the OG PN was launched there was no mention of this vape and then there it was on the market ready to go and no QC problems. The PRO also was kept very quite and launched at the right time, by right time i mean look at the ascent thread. anyway :love:VB

I'd be interested in that too. Hit a Pax for the 1st time this weekend and really liked it.

I don't have the Pro but I believe the main difference is that the Pax is conduction while the Pro is mostly convection. The Pax is constantly heating your load, baking it the whole time while the Pro heats the air that passes through the load. I'm sure there is some conduction in the Pro just much less than the Pax.

Load size is also very different. Pax takes a bunch to get good clouds and IMO tends to eat herb much quicker than my other vapes. The pro takes much less at a time and seems to be able to make more out of it. It it for these reasons that I'm selling my Pax, the battery on the other hand is the one reason I want to keep it. That thing lasts me about a day and a half, 3 full ovens.

In the end I would think the Pro is better for enjoying and the Pax is great to get you there quick while being as stealth as possible.

I'm selling my akai mpk49 to buy the pro with water tool and I'm sure these questions have been asked but,

1. Are these ready to ship and have been officially released?

2. Is there an fc discount code?
