@Weez65,

No I don't think that the Solo O-ring won't fit the PNP Gpong.
I was just pointing out that O-ring issues exist with other vapes that's all.
But, to try and help you, if you still have your old O-ring that broke, you could bring it to a plumber and they'll definitely have one that will fit.

When I look at the O-ring, I have one from tap cartridge that looks identical.

When it comes to O-rings, just remember they are sized by OD, ID and thickness.

Be also remember that you can use a smaller O-ring that could stretch over the glass insert which would then decrease the thickness because of it stretching.

Try the tube method that I mentioned also.

Just be safe about he materials be used.

High temp resistant materials are always your best option.

RE: PNP battery

@BarnBoy, any thoughts on TRVB's request for feedback regarding the PNP battery?
I'm glad to see you're still on here! I know you got some ideas also!

Ok now the plumber idea is something I hadn't even thought about. Ok. Thank you Sativape. Appreciated.

Please excuse me if this is not the correct place to post. I have just had an incredibly frustrating time with VaporBlunt and the Pinnacle. I had it for less than 4 months and loved it, used it with the water tool. Suddenly it just stopped working. I assumed that it was covered by its 1-year warranty. For me, I paid a LOT of money for this. I emailed them and they have responded pretty quickly. I have been polite. They sent me a return authorization code and I shipped it off to them. They told me they found water damage, it was not repairable and they would sell me a new one for $85. I understand this is a good price, but why would I want to spend any money at all on a company that does not stand behind its warranty? I was extremely careful with this unit, as it was a big investment for me. I told them that the only water used was their water tool. They said that since I bought the water tool from a store rather than from them, it was not covered under warranty. I am stunned. Somehow, the water tool must have contributed, since there was never any other water. But after only 4 months of use, and a one-year warranty, I have never encountered a company that would just say to a customer, essentially, "Tough!". Now, as I read through your forums here, I see that I am not alone, by far, in having a terrible customer service experience with this company. But now I am without a vaporizer since I don't have the money to spend - again - on something so expensive. And I am left feeling totally ripped off by VaporBlunt.

@Weez65 -- Thanks for the detail behind your experience. fwiw, I also thought you were saying you went through four units. It sounds to me like you will do well with the gpong once they get all the kinks worked out. And that collar should be replaceable from what I read from others here working with yoyokid.

@unhappy 341 -- I hope you stick around long enough to regret making a user name of 'unhappy'! That's usually a tip off to us mods that someone is just here to bitch (not that you are...but only time will tell). While I feel your pain, I think there is more to this than you yet understand. I had the luxury of beta testing the Cloud back in the day with the first hydra tubes. The early designs would allow the user to overflow the lower chamber to the point where it would leak into the unit below...not good! The new designs make this very difficult to do (although still possible for the determined). I can see why the company will not warranty a unit that could have been used with an inferior design of glass. In their minds offering a replacement unit at the low price of $85 was good service.

Thank you for your replies. Actually, I already regret having a username of unhappy! I don't want to put that kind of energy out there, but I have been so upset about this. I first came to these forums to research an alternative, and I appreciate all advice. I expect to continue to use the forums for advice, not for bitching! But I did want to share my experience, because I wish I had read these forums prior to making my purchase so I could have been more well informed. I purchased both the pinnacle and the VaporBlunt water tool from a local retailer, thinking that since I was new to the world of vaping, it would be good to have a local person to clue me in. His instructions about how to use the water tool were pretty minimal, making me think that there was really not that much to it. I was always careful to make sure that the outside and bottom were dry before putting it on the pinnacle. I think I was so stunned by their response partly because I felt that I was careful all the time. Ah well... time to move on. When I look up yoyokid on ebay I only see pinnacles? any other recommendations, as I said, I deeply appreciate. I'm already saving up my pennies.

Read through some of the other forums discussing vaporizers. A lot of folks like the Solo portable vape, I have one and would highly recommend it. You need to decide what would work best for you and your circumstances.

You have to make sure when using the water tool you DO NOT blow into it. This will push the water out the bottom and into the unit. One day I was using it with my girl and my friend and we were having a good time laughing when suddenly she was hitting it with the WT and laughed. I started to hear sizzling so I immediately ripped off the MP and just flipped the unit upside down. Luckily most of the bud absorbed the water and none got into the electronics. Moral of the story to everyone BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THE WATER TOOL!

@unhappy 341

Did you always remove the water tool between sessions?

I know of a couple of people who did not do this and left them attached overnight and the water had dumped itself into the PnP by the morning.

Which retail store? There are a lot of knock off water tools as well as ones from china that leak, therefore we can not just assume that our water tool led to your damage. If you have proof that you purchased your pn pro and OUR water tool from on of our retail vendors I will help you navigate a return

I always emptied it out, dried it, wrapped it in its original bubble wrap and put it in its original box to make sure that there was no breakage. That's one of the reasons I was so stunned by VaporBlunt's attitude - I tried to be so very careful with it. I was worried that if left attached it might fall over and crack.

Thank you for your interest in my situation. I purchased it from Smoke Rings in Raleigh, NC at the same time that I purchased my Pinnacle. It is in a VaporBlunt box. I offered to mail VaporBlunt the water tool or to send a scan of the box or any other proof that they might require, but they said that because I bought it as a store rather than directly through them, it didn't really matter.

When the unit/bullet cools down, it creates an area of lower air pressure in the bottom section of the water tool, which will try to suck the water in the top of the pnp. The longer you wait, the more will go through
Now this is actually a possible explanation, if it really works this way. I often would let it sit and cool down with the water tool attached, and then reheat it when I wanted to use it again, the same evening. When I was done for the evening, as I said in another post, I dried it and stored it for the night.

I called smoke rings, their manager is a guy named Sam, he's going to help you. Call the store in about 20 minutes and they will know who you are. I'll send them a new unit and they will replace yours on the spot.

....... Now please talk to a mod about changing your name : )

thank you, thank you, thank you. It never ever occurred to me that someone on this forum could help me. I really just wanted to share my experience and move on. I will be way more careful about how I use the water tool, removing it before the unit cools down. This whole exchange on this forum has been so very helpful. I look forward to changing my name :) and to continuing to learn more about vaporizers on this forum.

Been using the Plenty whip with PNP and it is awesome! Also have the glass bong but the whip seems way better and no need for water or the mess. Only $13 from site sponsors.

I spoke to the manager of smoke rings, his name is Sam and he's going to help you. If you call the store now they are expecting you. Tell them your situation and they will help you.

The problem is, they are sold out of pn pros and have been waiting on me for a month to get them more. As soon as they get back in stock they will swap your unit for you.

..... Now u can talk to a mod to change your name!!

Sorry for the double posts, I'm working off my cell phone today and I didn't think it sent.

@unhappy please read the second post I made, as SR is out of stock, however they will still help

mod note: Two posts merged.

Thanks - I will call them. Meanwhile, an embarrassing question - how do I contact a moderator to change my screen name? Is it the person named as "staff" on the main forum page? thanks. I think my name should be something like "earnest newbie"!

Send a PM to @vtac. He is the one who can change your FC name. I've tagged him in this post as well so he shouldn't miss your request. Have patience though, he's been busy lately.
