I think it's helpful to keep your Pnp clean around the top and being careful taking the mouthpiece off. IMO that's not going to insure that you are not going to have an injury to the unit. Also this vape is probably best used at a lower temp. Not above heat level 3, that's been discussed a lot.
IMO I think some of these vapes run extremely hot, hotter than the plastic can withstand, maybe a problem with temp control or a software problem. With all the care and due diligence some of these units will crack and be damaged anyway. Maybe some of these vapes our fellow FCers have were treated without the proper care I can't know either way. I know I treated mine with extreme care.
None of us knew about any problems in the beginning with the materials except for the Pongs and mouthpieces. My mouthpiece didn't even melt. I have never used waxes or oils in either of my units. I repeatedly emailed and asked about the crack in the sleeve of 2 out of 3 of my Pnps.
There was no response about this problem even after I email 3 or 4 times. Finally it was answered on this thread 2 months later. They were cracking at the mold seam is what we were told. That doesn't sound like a normal problem to me. This should be covered under warranty. These units should be fixed either free of charge or for a discounted fee like theyoyokid1 off eBay.
Don't beat yourself up for thinking that you caused all these problems yourself with your vaporizer.
I think thats great that they developed the new glass lined pong. I'm looking forward to getting mine. But again VB not doing the right thing by offering this product first to the customers that had the damage. I understand a company wanting to make a profit, but customer service should be the priority. Look at online stores such Puffitup and other FC sponsors. I've had stellar customer service from Puffitup and Planetvape.
