Has anyone converted a ZX to be wireless? Would love any pointers on the best way to approach that. I figure I can cut down a 16mm coil to make the handle, but I’m less sure on best way to approach making an appropriate hot hole. From what I’ve read, just taking 16mm coil and trying to use that wouldn’t work because it would be too tight to actually get the ZX head in there, and I figure an 18mm coil would just be way too loose. Would love any pointers if someone on here has already figured it out.

From my understanding, people are just taking their 16 MM coil and stretching it out either with their manly manly hands or pliers and a towel. Also, I haven’t tried this yet. I’m considering making mine wireless soon, but I was thinking instead of using another coil to make the handle if I just got some really thick gauge stainless steel wire and bent it into shape, drilled a hole in a wooden dowel and just use that as a handle. Also heard of people using stainless steel zip ties.

That makes sense! Guess I’ll have to see if my hands are manly enough for this one
