oh interesting! is your Auber smart switch compatible? I have one (bought oct 2024) that isn't but I'd be happy to hook it up to the zx to see what happens if that would be helpful

I'm sure it's not a smart switch. It was working! Wonderfully. Then it wasn't. I was thinking it was my pid but my cannabis hardware head works just fine with it. Plug in the z, get the H
I get an H on my Auber only when i plug in either one of my cobra coils and it takes a small turn on the plug going into the controller and it works. I think the pins are too small and don't make full contact unless the barrel plug is clocked correctly. I'm not sure why the first photo isn't displaying all the digits. in real life it was a normal heatup cycle. Then for giggles i unplugged the zx and turned the auber pid on again. I got the H as shown in the second photo.
I am no pid expert, but this suggests to me that the H is an XLR connection error. Maybe the XLR jack on the ZX is a little out of spec? I suppose the pid jack could be out of spec too. Are all the pins on the ZX XLR jack the same length and width? do you have any other pids or ball vapes you can use to try to see if the error happens more on the zx side or the auber side? finding a second pid that fails with the zx or a second ball vape that fails with the auber could narrow it down?

Ed’s TNT handle is perfect. I opted for the shorter version. It’s really nice. I’d like to find a better stand also.
I ordered one. Then canceled it until I can figure out why mine doesn't work.

Snagged a second hand XL to accompany the lil brother 
The bowl is bigger than I anticipated and thick!
I’ll get up to go cash & reload the ZX bowl from my table. No need to with the XL. Still experimenting after only a few bowls but will probably run this at a little lower temp than the smaller guy.

NIce! Glad you found one! I run mine pretty low, 475-520F. There's a clear demarcation where the flavor turns (maybe 540-ish? Idr), which fortunately is a good ways after you get a nice, full roast. It's really a amazing injector.Snagged a second hand XL to accompany the lil brother

Absolutely f'kin love my zxl. As you've discovered, the bowl is a brute! I swear it would be dangerous stuffed in the end of a sock! Enjoy those massive hits full of flavour! I've never found the top end of the scale for flavour, I've never felt the need! I'm expecting the zxxl to be equally as good and I'm looking forward to trying it!
