Love to see the engaging conversation, cheers everyone
First off, good news, ZX ceramics have been rebuilt and are finally completed!
I'm not exactly sure if they were sent out last night or not, I might hear back on that this evening.
This means ceramics will be landing soon, which means some real progress is finally being made.
Super excited to wrap these pending orders up, I know this ones been pretty drawn out so thank you all for your patience and cooperation
Trying to find a new shipping solution and cue the future wait times down.
Could come whenever as the design is pretty much done; but I'm thinking of doing this new quartz vape first, as more people seem to resonate with and associate glass with this "ultra pure" motif I'm after.
Zirconia has proven to be an excellent material for the things I've been making, but I do think there's a lack of familiarity of it on a wider scale, especially when other companies rename it to stuff like "Shinju" to add obscurity.
Yeah if you like reallyyyy low temp terp taster hits the wireless was always harder to achieve that, when I started PHASE3 back in 2022 my first product release was originally going to be a wireless ball vape based on my SCVW, but I ultimately decided to do the corded Z8 first as I figured it was more versatile with zero downtime group session compatibility and increased low temperature stability for terp surfing on the bottom end.
Cordless stuff falls out of that real low end range super quick compared to something constantly receiving power.
The main reason I haven't released a wireless upgrade kit for the ZX it because it was originally designed with reduced mass to allow faster heatup from cold and between temperature changes than other ball vapes. This is especially impressive for being such a heavy insulator material.
To achieve that, it's actually slightly underrated, and leverages the thermal mass of the heating coil itself for temperature stability.
That said it's super cool to see friends on here are having success with and enjoying the ZX as-is as a true wireless option which I think is super cool.
Even though I'm always late to my own party, I have some new ideas for wireless ZX's for increasing their temperature stability so stay tuned for that Z-Team
