Can someone explain to me how this vape manages to work without lots and lots of vapour being lost out the open end?

I'm surprised it works so well. Seems to defy the logic and design of other vapes that try to contain the vapour. It's like a Vaponic but without a cover.

The way I see it is, unless there is air movement inside the heating chamber, why would the vapor go anywhere?

I think that the vapor is created & then it pretty much just sits there until you draw it out. But, if you were to continue heating without drawing at all, the vapor would likely build up until it reached a point where it would eventually start to flow out of either end of the tube due to force.

Well, at least, that's my take on it anyway.

Not sure how it happened but I have just added a Peace to my Triihouse collection! Used twice so far with mixed results, any and all tips welcome as the Lily and Daisy are my 2 go to all day any day favourite vapes and hope I can fit the Peace into my rotation.

sigh I am still trying to get my hands on a peace vaporizer I was made some offers but they were a little on the high end and the best of all my offers was taken off the table due to lack of funds at the moment man I miss this beauty my vapman arizer air as well but not as much this beauty damn vape thieves

Hey TriiPeas! ;)

Having some blissfully slow paced, relaxing sessions with the Peace Duo today. I really do love the flavor I can get out of this thing (mmmm conduction!), & it's so nice to turn things down a notch & take some time to fully appreciate the process you are undertaking. And I find that this is just the way that it seems to happen when using this device in the right way.

Whenever I haven't used either the Peace or Duo for a while, I'm always happy to bring them back into rotation - for me, they never fail to impress.

Now, I really do love my VapCaps :luv: but the Triihouse conduction vapes definitely still shine bright in their own right, and with their own unique signature. They are a pleasure to caress and to use! . . . . Even though I do find that the Duo is definitely a bit big & clunky when it comes to maneuvering it for heating - especially when compared to the standard Peace. But I can deal with that because it also has it's own charms, and it's function is unquestionable.

My Triihouse vapes are timeless classics imo. Ingeniously basic designs, lavishly executed in wood & glass. And even though Triihouse as a company are no longer around, it's good to know that the vaporizers which they created will survive long after the non-user replaceable batteries have died out in my

So I got my Peace on Friday night and started putting some practice in. I believe I did 3 fresh loads of various sizes and quickly adopted sandwiching UD basket screens from the nylon stems to hold the herb better. So after the load looked caked I dumped to find my center of the load still not fully vaped. I ended up taking the half spent herb and finishing it in the peace.

First off it's a beautiful and simple vaporizer. It can definitely produce some tasty hits as well.

Now where I'm having issues there is a lot of variables at play.
  • Size of load
  • Tightness of pack
  • Where to aim the torch
  • Time for hitting the torch on a side
With the vapman you aim for the apex of the pan and count a simple 5 seconds and your golden. So when trying to find my peace technique I was a bit lost. I have watched the triihouse demo video and can't seem to replicate the same results.

I come to the wise for any tips and pointers to help get this peace functioning at full potential.

Anything could be helpful I appreciate it!!

Hey there my good man!

I'm so pleased to see you that you have finally found Peace :)

Not much time, but what I will say right now is this . . .
  • Load as much into a stem as you can comfortably heat without causing damage to your Peace!
  • I hold my lighter in one hand, flame pointing up, while spinning the Peace in the other - stem above the flame, aimed at the load, maybe making small sweeping movements with the flame to ensure that I'm heating as evenly as possible.
  • Apply heat & then sip, wait a mo, sip a little more, wait again, & then maybe sip some more (conduction :tup:) . . . & keep looking down the mouthpiece to spy those swirly vapor trails.
If you are not happy with your current level of extraction on material toward the centre of the load:
  • Try gently & lightly packing the stem.
  • Medium ground material.
  • Heat a good distance away from the stem (at least toward the beginning of your session) to slow the whole process down & allow more time for heat to radiate into the middle of the load.
  • Play, play, play! :D

@Cnova203 I would think FC classifieds and possibly ebay. I don't believe any vape sites have any triihouse left in stock..

So I've been trying to spend time to find oneness with my peace and it seems to be paying off. What honestly seemed to help most was backing off and not hovering over it. Once I leaned back and started my swipe torch it seemed much more fluent and graceful. I have found with my cheap lighter turned up pretty high I get a very nice extraction, I just need to stir once or twice. The flavor is great but the vapor is a tad bit hot if you're not careful. With practice I imagine this is a great daytime relaxation vaporizer.


With such a simple design I'm sure it can be made at home if u just had the peace glass stem. I would have loved to see this vape in crazy exotic woods!!! If I had the extra doe I would send the wood half straight to Ed's Tnt and see what magic he could work.

Anyways does anyone else still use their Peace?? And how does it fit into your vape rotation??

I self kick myself in the nuts every time I see this thread knowing that Tommy had offered to send me a free peace for some PR reasons back then and I've refused his offer telling him I'd rather support his company and give him money once it'd be available in UK... :bang:
