The folks at Ploom are joining us as an Armament provider for this next phaze of our war!
Our own @pakalolo helped in discussing the "PIF" program (programme) with a representative of Ploom.
They are going to get us a Pax for a few of our patients.
I was floored that such good will can show up as it has!

I can not believe that I am finding the strength to do all of this.
Some days bring tears and some days are very difficult.
Sometimes I hurt real bad.....
and this effort, that has become a full time endeavor on behalf of an entire medical community, is paying off.
Local Doctors that are MMJ prescribers, are talking about us!
Not talking about me... but all of us.
FC has become a local legendary spot of respite online for those that want to learn.
Most of the patients I see do not have internet access.
A dozen patients a day come by here to get information, education, or supplies....
and I am always tickled, when they shyly ask me if they can look at FC for a few minutes!
We are lucky enough to have a couple of computers, and one is just for use by visiting patients.
That computer is reserved for them.
They can place orders for stuff they want to purchase (discount codes for every website listed along side).
Then they can sit a while and read FC threads.
While I tell them they can go ahead and make an FC account, they don't do it.
(except for one person)
Todays surprise revelation:
You guys here sometimes ask me for updates about units you sent.
I try my best to send individual donors the story of the day their donated vape got placed in a new home.
What I have never mentioned here was YOUR individual celebrity here in the community, among patients with no computers.
When I give a vaporizer, I get embarrassed at accolades and pass the buck onto the actual donor.
In some cases it is a retailer or maker and I will tell them ..."your portable came from________" and they want to read the thread that concerns that business.
Recipients of units that YOU individually have sent ask the same thing, when I say "it came from a member on FC"...
...they ask to see the profile of the donor, and then they ask me to help them navigate the site, as they see what threads the donor is active in... what the donors signature says.... and then they read posts by the donor.
You are not forgotten by any measure.
Your "stats" here on FC have been perused by the patients that now use your old stuff!
Take that into your day with you! (stuff that in your unit and vape it)

Apparently there was a member that wanted to donate a couple of new vapes to help me with local Cardholding patients. He talked to sticks about it, and he decided to go through @stickstones and place an order.
It was nice that FC members have developed a trust in one another.
The member figured that sticks would keep his secret safe….
…and indeed the donor was only called "anonymous".
It was also nice that members can know that they can go through sticks, who has said he would sell any vape he could get his hands on at his cost, if he knew that it was going to end up in the Paying it Forward program.

Those that sit and read these posts are helping just by reading. When you read this, and smile, the Universe registers this… and your smile and positive attitudes grace the Universe and the concept we are in the midst of.
There are 2 brand new patients sent to me today.
A Nurse with chronic pain and a myriad of problems that make getting her "vaped" a situation requiring study, due to chronic asthmatic condition. She may be the ideal candidate for this "Puffit" unit I have been holding onto. She does not need much to get medicated, and with it's forced air, and minimal number of hits, I think we struck gold!
Her husband has chronic back and other issues that have left him unable to work. Funny thing is I followed this guys progress on Facebook for about a year before the initial contact was made, and he was on my "friend list" as a local fan of the Vapor Trail page.
He left with a Vapor Brothers unit.
They got butter, topical liniment, and a discussion about Vapor.
Hopefully they will show up here at FC before long, as they have internet access!

Like many others who have been late to the Vapor Trail party I just found this thread and I want to add my gratitude to all those who are working on this effort. Vitolo your posts bring tears to my eyes. I will be going through my old stuff and making some donations as soon as I can get stuff cleaned up. I was thinking of selling these things, but I just never got motivated to do so. Now I know why the motivation eluded me, somehow I knew there was a better place for these things than just joining someone's ongoing collection. Now I know how to make that happen.
Making a real difference in someone less fortunate's life is a real gift for yourself, the ultimate win-win. It is amazing, but not surprising, that a "pot user" forum is a great place to find that sense of community. The herb is a gift given us by the universe and it is our duty to pay it forward!

"Anonymous guy" sent Solos (a pair of new ones) through our buddy @stickstones. Patients love solos. I think that it has what even non MJ oriented people can regard a medical form factor. I know these will go over big! I just got a couple Solo cases (See them here) to give to a couple of patients with them!

@Vicki found out that an Iolite I had sent her last year was not for her. The essences associated using the butane. What a great gesture to send it to me to pass to another patient.. (With a surprise MFLB in tow!) I hope the Ascent can do you a better service. You rock! (PS the Iolite is OK.. it has not even been broken in.. it just has the typical "new Iolite" essence going on!)

I did not know about the Imag+ but.. I was pleasantly surprised at the simplicity and ease of use on this thing.
I tried it out, and liked it.
I expected burnt flavor and speckled ABV, and was delighted at the performance and taste.
I am thinking of the proper patient to receive this, while at the same time, considering recommending this to patients on the move.
I may even get myself one some day.. they are nice!
I have more info to share.
There is the ongoing Haze Saga which involves a group of patients that are all becoming Haze Pros!
A dozen patients at this time are all Haze owners, and a Haze worthy bunch they are.
They like to know what each other is saying, and a meeting here is important to them to discuss techniques... as important as a trip to FC! (don't forget they have no internet)
Those that can not meet, ask on the phone "what did Alice say about the convection basket" etc.
How about these patients?
A good percentage of them never imagined they would be vaping herb!
And yet here they are... and not just with a desktop vape at home....
The Local Patients on my personal Vapor Trail, are sporting portables and are medicating on the go.

For those who cannot meet and don't have internet, have you considered a conference call? I found one service that's free up to 5 people but there's more to be found with a google search. Could become a weekly thing and would be useful as a support system.
Also I get fuzzy feelings every time I check this thread

I love the idea!
I was very excited, and went immediately to look at your link.
Most of the patients I work with, however have TAP phones... myself included.
It is the "Telephone Assistance Program", and it is free to Arizona patients that are low income, and terminally or chronically ill. We pay 19¢ a month for a phone line, that is limited.
There are no additional services possible on these lines.
There is no call forwarding, blocking or call waiting.
No collect calls can be accepted, and no long distance call can be made.
The programs online, including the one you site say:
"As long as participants can dial in to a US-based long-distance number, they'll be able to enter your conference call."
Meanwhile, I act as a "conference call" by passing messages to patients that then call each other.
Some live in areas close to one another and they do meet to talk.
I am googling other services, but finding same limitation.
Should you or anyone here find the a similar service that requires only local calling I would act quickly to adopt such a program!
Edit: I found a couple conference call situations for local numbers. Some charge to join... but there are a few others like https://turbobridge.com/local_toll.html for me to check on now. I will keep you all posted, and you can do same for me.

It turns out that Google itself has an option that might be helpful, though it would require some bit of setup…
Google Voice gives you a free phone number in the area code of your choice, and allows you to set the number to forward to another number (or numbers) for free. The free forwarding also "works in reverse" such that you can call from your landline but make the call appear to be coming from your Google number, and the numbers can also be answered and called from directly (without forwarding) by using the website or a smartphone But these features are not as important in this case. The numbers do come with conference calling capability.
I figure a Google Voice account could be set up for each patient that wanted to join in on the call, and each Google phone number chosen would match the area code of the corresponding patient. Each phone number would be set to forward all calls to that patient's TAP number.
It may sound complicated but it is really only a bit tedious.
Then you, Vito, could start the conference call using your own Google Voice phone number, adding all the other Google phone numbers to the conference call. I figure, in this way, each patient's TAP line is only engaged with a single, local number, meanwhile they are participating in a conference call!
Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or need any help. I'm not professional tech support (unless you ask my parents
) but I do have a lot of experience with Google Voice and would be more than happy to help! The Vapor Trail and your wonderful work is often on my mind.

Sorry to throw up obstacles.
I do use Google calling for outgoing Long Distance, since I can not use my limited home phone for that.
I do not however have a Google Phone number, as there is a charge for that.
The low income Patients that I serve do not have Google numbers, I am the one of the only ones that has a computer and access to internet.
I will PM you, so we can continue this discussion, and attempt to find solutions .

I heard from @olivianewtonjohn with some thoughts, then I followed up with @nopartofme in private messaging. He had input and ideas that we explored, but there were still some technicalities in the various systems making group telephone meetings at this time still incomplete. With the help of these ideas however, we have a starting point from which the concept can grow and hopefully be implemented soon.

The sending of your latest innovative product (a few Haze Accessory Cases) will go over big with patients that have trouble manipulating and keeping track of small parts..
The credit you left for us on our account at Delta 3D Studios LLC will surely help also.
I like the Haze accessory case idea so well I am thinking that these may be a tool for me to encourage.
