And where does one find this little bugger?!

P.S. Anyone debating over a Pax or another competitor's model----> Pax's customer service is the best I have EVER had with any company in my 32 years of life... Just saying... That's a lot in my book when considering which portable vape to buy!

They are over-nighting a new one to me, and I have had couple models with issues...

You always get emails and updates on the repair status... The people are friendly... from problem to resolution and Pax back in my hands on the three occasions I had issues on multiple units has never been more than a single week!!!

someone posted this already this is just a glass on glass adapter and a piece of hose you are wasting 30 bucks on that, and its going to be flimsy as fuck. This is literally a 2-5 dollar adapter and a cutting of a piece of hose worth pennies.

I started screwing around with using 400ss mesh instead of the pax screen and used an razor blade to open up the mouthpiece hole. The mesh screen I just rolled up like a normal genny wick then unrolled it to open it some for air flow, it's a very loose roll. After it was rolled to a cone shape I stuck it down the tube and folded the oven end up to close it off. So far it looks like the "wick" is holding the oil just like I was hoping for. If it works I would hope tgd wick will hold the oil untill it gets vaped or I can pull the wick and get the reclaim that way. Between the screen and opening the mouthpiece the draw is much more usable, I think the suction was causing me to somehow get spit down the mp. The spit thing don't seem to happen anymore. I'm only 10 or so ovens into the wick screen, I'll report back after more use.

any update on this? curious... I was thinking about cutting up a ELB from a Cloud... it's super fine mesh stainless steel screen... Maybe better airflow, but not so much as to change things too much? That's my theory...

Sorry vaped, I figured you would notice that. It looks like silicone tubing to me, but you could inquire about its heat rating if you're concerned. I don't know how you would attach formed glass to the mouthpiece, it would have to be more like your earlier solution which also involved tubing.

If you send the seller a quick message that you made a mistake and would like to cancel before he ships that usually works. Just make sure to follow up on the refund in a few days.

If the seller gives you any grief, politely mention that the advertisement is a bit misleading... Says glass on glass and it implies the adapter is all glass... A close look at the pictures, even, might not discover it's plastic/silicone to glass (then to the glass water pipe or whatever)....

Either way... I don't know how well the Pax would like a bong adapter... but who knows!

The seller does say no returns, but also has 100% feedback so he'll probably work with vaped on this even though he's not obligated to.

I still think it would have been cool with the pinnacle ht you just got rid of. I mean it's not like the Pax has a sacred glass vapor path or anything, it's plastic ceramic and metal. So I don't see how this bit of silicone could be improved upon from a functional standpoint unless it's not temperature rated.

But it could certainly be done cheaper. When I sent it to you I thought you would be inspired to copy it, not buy it!

Oh the idea of it is fine! I have no quarry with silicone tubing as long as its the right shit. My problem is the price! Lol I can craft that myself for less than 10 bucks. I'd have been happy to pay 30 if it was formed glass.

Only got a few more in it but yes, it absolutely stopped me from spitting into the vape. I haven't cleaned it sense the wick install (maybe ~12 purtty full loads) BUT I have also been storing it oven side down while hot and setting the charger on top to help pull the oil back to the oven. Maybe the screen is working or maybe I just think it is but I would do it again, no harm really right. Not sure how big a cloud screen is but I used something like a 0.5" x 1" piece rolled to a solidish tube thinking it would help transfer heat and hold the oil better then just a single layer of screen. For the first attempt I like it.

That is only with flowers. But all the goo kept running down the tube from the oven to the mouthpiece making it not heat and or stick, plus all that oil loss to cleaning is just crazy. No I'm not that guy with a vape so clean it looks new.
edit: To be clear my stock screen was removed, I rolled ss mesh into a solid staw then inserted that staw down into the tube exiting the oven. About half the straw is in the oven the other half is on its way down the tube to the mouthpiece.

Okay, I think i will try cutting a piece of screen the same size as the pax's original screen and see what happens... maybe that will keep some goo in the oven more?

Guess I didn't communicate that very well.
In stock form I felt like the goo/oil/reclaim was just freely running down the tube making its way to the mouthpiece and causing problems. In effect I added a ball of screen to the inside of the tube in hopes it would wick up the goo before it could get away from the heat zone. One thing I did notice is that now when I dump a spent oven out a ball of goo soaked abv stays stuck to the wick. I'm not sure a single layer of screen will hold much oil/goo but please try and post how you feel about it.
