Thanks for the response wizsteve. The herb seems perfect to me in terms of dryness. I got it from a dispensary in Colorado so it was cured perfectly. should I moisten it up with an orange peel or a little humidity pack thing? I've tried about 5 different strains and they all get dark dark brown. I've taken the EQ up to 430 degrees and it still doesn't get that dark. I'm pretty Damn sure it's real cuz I went to an authorized dealer listed on plooms website. I don't have a way to test the temp right now but will look into the meters. Gonna try it again when I get home and will post pictures of the unit and abv.
It's funny you said it likes sticky herb even I've read here that people suggest drier herbs and even read that people said to set the herbs out after grinding to them a little.
yea when i said sticky i wasn't talking dryness or wetness of the herb was referring to trics on the herb
i used mine for many different strains and i noticed some don't work in the pax very well at all and some work great so when buying see if the herb sticks to your fingers thats the stuff you want to feed your pax with.
However herb can also be over dry for grind just buy a coffee bean grinder (don't use for coffee lol)
do check for seeds before grinding .grind up a 1/8 oz let sit on a tray overnight will do the trick.
for me i find the best way is to set it to hi temp than once it reaches hi turns green i set it to low
than vape seems to work the best for me.
