We're here to fuck shit up.
There is definitely a serial number there. I can see a couple of the digits. There's a 3 at the end. Show a picture of the screw in the back. That has been a dead giveaway so far.

Edit: From what I see, it looks legit.

yea all the temp colors are legit, it has party mode, and charges with the mouthpiece in....now that I think about 9 months ago the fake pax's were just coming out and that "lined" looking outer couting so Im about 99% positive its real. Plus the owner is a known member here and has assured me that the receipt will be included and that its from vaporworld.

Id say its genuine, a pic of the screw will tell. The magnets have been red in the fake pax also.

The pax flashes- say, green, green, red. You move it, the light turns blue... Three red flashes!! You lose. ... Green, green, red. You move it a different way, it turns green! You twist it back, it turns yellow... Three red flashes!! You lose....

Once you figure out the motions for each color (not that easy to maintain even then) you can win and the light flashes white. Then the pattern again with one more added. Fricking SIMON.

I also noticed that while you're in simon mode the heater turns off.. Guess they knew once you started playing it you might get a little lost... Ha.

Anyway, I wanted to share this because it made me like the pax just that much more and I didn't see any full descriptions out there, unless I missed them...

After owning/using my Pax for a little over 1 year and 3 months, I am still in love with it and I take it a lot of places with me.
Also, because a few buddies of mine tried my Pax out, they also bought them and love them.

I did have to return mine one time so far for a warranty issue (temp button stuck) but I had a brandy new unit in my hand within a week. After that I had an issue with my mouthpiece and they sent me out a brandy new mouthpiece and some lube. Ever since these 2 issues I've been worry free and its been working perfectly for me.

Just wanted to share my 'success' story so far.

DO NOT BY A PAX OFF EBAY!

I wanted to make this post because I fell right into the imitation PAX with buying one on ebay, thinking I could somehow get a magical deal without any consequences. My initial thoughts were "hey, lets save some money and get one off ebay." I thought it would be authentic, but I got fooled.

I got a real one form my LHS because I wanted the warranty, and had a sketchy feeling about the one I was about to receive from ebay. Well turns out my instincts were correct..

Visual notes: the fake one has a weird glossy, striated type anodizing. It looks really cheesy. Also, the lettering on the fake pax is a completely different font from the real one and doesn't look as sharp. The box of the fake pax is also a little different. The "pax by ploom" lettering at the top is darker in the fake box, and the picture of the pax is fuzzier looking.
Other than these aspects, there isn't anything obviously noticeable about the differences. I never used the fake one, and am planning to return it.

The new fakes have the same screw as the pax. Also the finish of the newer ones is a lot more similar to the real pax.

The main tells now are the FONT and the light color

They buy or steal our military tech. They knockoff any kind of electronic device they think will make money. For a bunch of Communists', they sure have become really good at being Capitalist.

But...in our favor, they have given us a LOT of lead for our children in recent years...so, we have that going for us. :bang:

Was the trench fully packed for that? That was one hell of a first hit, very impressive. I cant until both my pax's get here! The anticipation is killing me, I really hope I like this more than the PNP or its back to the solo I go.

It depends on what your priorities are?

For some the PAX is their favorite!

Others can't handle the flavor profile.

Some need a stealth pocket vape and this one does that.

There is a reason most of the people on here have more than one vaporizer!
We all have different needs.

Damn, my screen keeps popping up and allowing little bits of bud to get to the mouth piece.

What's the ideal bend in the screen? Can't seem to get it to stay in securely.
