A gram a day seems a bit much. I do about 2.5 a week and that's with 3x a day.

Has anyone tried hash in the pax? I have some kief hash and they are pretty hard little balls of hash. Does anyone have a technique for using hash, in particular kief hash?

Edit: I also have the davinci and i tried putting the kief hash in the oil can but it didn't work that well and i feel like i didn't burn it fully.

Which one will work better for my kief hash, thanks for any tips you peoples might have.

You need 1/2" ID x 5/8" OD silicone tubing to fit over the pax mouthpiece, it will seal inside a female 18mm joint or you can use 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD silicone tubing inside the bigger tubing to make it fit a 14mm joint.

But the classiest option is to use the 5/8" OD tubing to go straight over the 14mm side on a converter, like this:

Nope.

I know the prior three people already said no but I'll explain why, in case that matters to you.

The way the Pax charges is by putting the unit upside-down onto the charger so there is just no physical way to use it while it's charging. There isn't a wire/headphone-jack plugin to the unit, that actually plugs into the base the unit sits on to charge.

youre awesome, thank you! since my bongs downstem is 18mm im guessing i need to get the second one right? and purchase the tubing aswell. and ill be set to go?

Hi I am new here and am having a problem with my new Pax please help!

The indicator light flashes green 7 times and the unit turns off. This can happen when in use or when putting on charge. Any help would be great!

Unfortunately I think you're going to have to send that back for warranty service. I could be wrong, but I don't think that is a user fixable problem.

I would go to the Ploom website, go to the chat feature, and tell them your problem. They will probably issue a shipping label for a return.

I know buying a pax from ebay is a bad idea (got mine with a little help from a friend in the states)
But is it ok to buy a set of 3 screens for the pax on ebay?
They are hard to get and even harder when no pax items are sent to Europe but available on
ebay.

I don't see why that would be a problem. They are just thin sheets of steel so even if they are fake it should be fine.

I was thinking of getting a buddy to ship me one over but he's a bit of a square and worries about the consequences. Yeah exactly... What consequences!

Here is a video demonstrating the process of making a water pipe adapter for the Pax vaporizer. You do not need Vapor Brothers or any brand stuff with the exception of the Pax parts. Most materials are common household items; other materials can be found in shops or internet.

Materials:
• Pax vaporizer
• Pax mouthpiece (use old/spare/additional one)
• Silicone tubing with 6-7mm opening
• Vapor Brothers water pipe adapter (or something similar)
• Scissors, hack saw, super glue
• Water pipe with glass-on-glass connection

1. Pull metal stem out of mouthpiece.
2. Store remaining pieces.
3. Take metal stem.
4. Saw off thinner part below thick part of stem.
5. Measure half inch of silicone tubing.
6. Cut half inch of silicone tubing.
7. For extra strength, apply super glue to lower end of metal stem as directed.
8. Carefully push metal stem into silicone tubing.
9. Insert adapter into Pax.
10. Pax will begin heating.

There are two ways to vape: removing Pax from adapter or removing Pax from bong with adapter still connected.
Removing the Pax directly from the adapter will give the Pax a break from heating. Insert Pax into adapter to resume heating.
Removing the Pax from bong with adapter connected will keep the Pax on. This will simulate usage with the dry mouthpiece: good for continuous vaporizing but can overcook herb from extensive contact with oven. Placing adapter back into bong may also cause slight pressure to exhale a little vapor from the Pax's oven.
