Are you cleaning the outside of the vapor tube and the inside of the mouthpiece? I used to have the dreaded temp light and now i barely have it anymore.
You are right. It's the electric path, inner of mouthpiece tube to outer of vapor tube. More the actual clip that catches is the other pole. I'll make a video and show you all, mouthpiece inserted, and pushed over. I'll slide open pax and while in heat mode pull the catch lever so it does not touch the mouthpiece stem. You will see where it needs to be kept clean then.
Now how do I get a video from an iPhone onto this is where I need help. It better be idiot proof, cause when it comes to computers I'm dumb ok. I can program a micro controller in assembly but computers and me don't talk well. These days I only use iPad..
I've been naughty to my pax... Using it constantly and dropping some eliquid onto tobacco bed in the oven.. Needless to say, I really gunked it up till the hole in the oven was blocked. Yes blocked.. It made vapors like that and it was the hard draw that made me look and clean it out. Nuts too. Now I've not had the temp light issue since I clean the outer of the vapor tube and inner of the mouthpiece, and the catch lever. Even gunked up and slow rising mp it did not temp on me..
Pax is a turn on and vape in one sitting device. Not put down like a cig thing, both waste, but pax looses taste fast like so too. So I will try the minimal oven load with my internal tamping device to clamp the stash to the screen. Lets see, six good hits of that would be nice. Since I can swap batts I don't mind burning through bats then. Show me how to put vids up then I can clarify it live.
Edit I see this.. Boss said,
PLEASE HELP!
My Pax is not turning on, at all. It was working fine, battery was low but I didn't notice it die. When I went to turn it on no lights came on. I put it on the charger and it instantly turned green. Then I took it off and put it back on and no lights came on. Pushed the mouthpiece, nothing. I can not get any response from the Pax. There is no light when I push the moutpiece, take it off, or put it on the charger. I really don't want to send it back. I need my Pax. Please help.
Edit: After leaving it on the charger it turned green, flashed yellow, then went back off.
I know this fault.. Battery not contacting Pcb or, more likely( since yours is soldered) the battery is dead. Pax behaves just like that when there is NO BATTERY inserted or soldered. I modded mine see. It's a robust build electrically too.. Well made circuits. The only letdown in the electrics is it needs 9v to re activate it after a cutoff lvc condition is met. Inserting a fresh battery results in no activity until its charged for one second or less... It also gets hot to hold in summer when on high and I use mu remote mouthpiece setup. Motorbike vape mode. Then in a pocket it really warms up. Hot hot.. So now I use my modded minivap for biking, driving and para motoring. Pax is my walkabout mate.
Undo the screw in back, slide open pax, on white paper, don't loose the little magnets on the oven catch.. Slide gently, I saved my o rings, left em out, they are in the box! Two of them. Once inside you can unsolder the wires from the battery, buy a protected 18650 2400mAh cell, unwrap the outer wrapping and reveal a circuit board on the negative terminal. Cut that out, leave a bit of the tab to solder pax black wire to.. Then see the wire strip running to the positive terminal, remove the cap (terminal) and cut off leaving enought to solder red pax wire to.. Presto batt service done.. Close up pax, screw in and charge it up.. Enjoy when charged.
