I'm becoming more and more convinced that vaporizers thrive only with high-quality herbs. Certainly methods make a big difference in terms of quality of hits, but I have seen first-hand how lesser quality herbs give dramatically different results in the same vape with the same methods. So much of any vaporizer's effectiveness lies not only in the vaporizer and methods but in the trichs of the herb.
Blaster, I don't know what quality herbs you are using, but I can attest that the Pax can get me ripped on low and still have plenty green to draw on through medium, and I am not a light-weight by any means. I rarely even use high anymore at all unless I am vaping with others, in which case the higher temps are necessary since the warm-up time is less. The Pax has the ability to produce big clouds even on low, though -- I do it all the time -- and it certainly has the ability to stone you as well as any other quality vape. I do use only highs, though.
