That perc is no good fit that piece,please let Steve know. Listen to that pop pop pop. I have a couple of pieces that do that, it makes the hit a little airy. An inline would be so much better.

Just throwing it out there, one of stevens older models (I think it was the SL-017, but I'd have to look it up) has a matrix/stemline hybrid perc.
It provides nice diffusion and could be good for the straight fab?
I really like the look of the straight fab but I'm not too keen on honeycombs in general... (especially not that blue one
)

That would be ideal and i don't recall seeing that perc. The piece itself is perfect and i hope it has an 18mm female. The blue honeycomb and any honeycomb for that matter is going to have that "POP"POP listen in the video
Also @blankrider why is there soooo much space between the perc and egg section?

Why must my shipment be so complicated??
So DHgate distributed my card number and several 150$ transactions had happened in less that 17 hours on Monday....
So I informed Steven of this matter and I was afraid he wouldn't understand.
And he didn't. His assistant "Jane" cancelled my order and told the post office to "hold it". This is the email he sent me:

Is it just me or does the intake hole near the honey comb look too constricted? I had this problem on another Steven piece and it was uneccessarily hard to drain.

@blankrider isn't Steve working on a Fab Egg? I bought Kathy's jankie egg that broke. I'm tempted to order CCG egg but I'm trying to spend all possible funds with Steve. After all he's done for us he deserves it. I'm making a huge order(6pieces) and I'm waiting on Super Steve's Egg. The longer i wait the longer my list is getting. That straight egg will extend it when available. And I'm waiting on the Mothership Torus, instead of the WOL version. So back the original question is Steve still working on an egg?

The first one only had 2 layers of holes in the fab section. This one has 3 layers totaling 9 holes just like a mothership straight fab. It is 29cm tall

I'd buy that straight fab if it had an inline or barrel perc. I already have too many honeycomb pieces. If it is only offered with a honeycomb I will still probably get it despite the little pop pop pop natural chug that @Cannabis Connoisseur was explaining.

I have a free service to offer to the Fuck Combustion community, for those who are purchasing knock off or "Open Source" Mothership glass which were designed, created, engineered and crafted by some amazing American borosilicate glass artists such as Scott Deppe, Jake Colito, Davin Titland, and Kevin McCully (Quave). Once you have gotten the chance to try your knockoff glass and realize that is functionally no better than your D020D or other generic bubbler, you can send your knockoff Othership pieces to me.
I will host some sessions with some glass artists that work at Mothership Glass. I'll film a demonstration of the functional differences between the copy cat piece and the real versions of the pieces being stolen and imitated.
In lieu of shipping the knockoff boro back to you, we will then destroy the knock off glass pieces in entertaining and safe manners. That part will be included on the comparison video as a free bonus!

Hmm artists that wine about ' copy rights ' and so on should stop wasting their energy on this and keep on innovating... That way the ' copy cats ' will always be one step behind.
And my personal opinion, if they were not trying to get rich of us I would not mind paying the price. But these prices are simply ridiculous and unaffordable to most.
Furthermore, the knock offs might lead to more actual sales for the artists in question!!
This is a bit like the guy from U2 winning about illegal downloads. Sorry to hear you do not have caviar top put on your bread for breakfast....

No thanks, I'd rather buy glass that doesn't require the sacrifice of your first born child.
I don't doubt their talent, but spending thousands of dollars on a piece of glass a kitten could knock over n break is just outrageous IMO.
Those videos sound good tho. I'd like to see how a piece less than a tenth of the price functions next to the original.

If you want to actually have a discussion about the pros/cons of knockoff glass, start a thread and loose the dickish attitude...
Mods have made their decision that knockoff are allowed to be discussed around these parts - counterfeits not so much.
It's a pretty clear line, which I think is fair, and could potentially be debated further in a thread or with mods, but please spare me the sanctimonious shit...

You're so cool, that was a strangely professional way of saying that. And I'm not being a dick, i mean it.
I wouldn't even consider getting glass for more than 70 and that's pushing it for me... The. Most I've spent at dh is like 45 including shipping. And thats cheaper than my old probably-china-made bowl I got at an american headshop. Really I'm guessing 3/5 headships where I am are purely China glass that is over priced. And knock off vapes...
And in terms of giving my money to a the artist and me being an artist... It would have to mindblowingly dope as fuck... And I haven't seen anything mind blowing on dhgate.
