Just got the fc 710, This is my first peice from steven and it definitely lives up to its reputation for flavor.

Got my FC-710 yesterday. The welds are possibly the best I've had from dhgate. In pictures, imo, it looks bulbous and awkward, but on my desk, it has an old school 90's custom glass or 19th century labware aesthetic.

There's something about the reservoir base and sliiiightly conical can that feels like bliss in my hand, after handling the D020 and other straight can bubblers for a year since fucking combustion and dhgate shopping.

With more flavor this thing hits a little harder, so smaller dabs are more satisfying - huge bonus.

Imho, the only thing that really says "China" or "mass production" about this design is the simple straight mouthpiece. If the mouthpiece was curved elegantly like the rest of the piece, this would cause instant GAS for anyone laying eyes on it I think, instead of it being a cult-pick [primarily] for flavor. That's my only critique for my new DD.

I'll keep ya posted @CG420. UFO order was good to go! Placed, processed, and shipped out within a day. It has been much quicker to process this time around, I reckon without CNY. I hope shipping time will be cut too. SWIM posted recently they had a delivery time of something well under two weeks. As long as it beats the 20 days my FC-711 was in transit, its all good.

Steve Bates, the creator of the design, studied glass blowing under a scientific labware blower in NJ. That really influenced his style as you could see.

Thanks a bunch. My buddy and I went to buy a 18mm whip but for some reason the EVO was wasting herb more than producing vapor. I hope it works and tastes well through the FC-UFO because we really want to get this thing to taste good for a while not in a couple hits with the whip. With that removable glass MP I think it's a winner IMO.

It is 18mm female joint and a 75mm can. It is probably one of the few pieces that looks smaller in the pictures than it actually is. Most DHgate pieces are smaller than you would expect from my experience

She has slime honey buckets in lots of 2 for $50. Though it is uncertain if she is counting the cap and bowl as distinct pieces so it might be only one bucket/cap.

Ya they are definitely janky looking, don't really have much interest in honey buckets due to having an e-nail. Mostly just stoked that decent colours are occasionally poping up (see also that CCG red bear mountain recycler) and that some of the vendors might be getting that people don't want the blue/green standard chinese colours.

that standard blue and green glass is what gives away the China fact instantly.

my buddy thought I dropped the real cash for the rigs I recently purchased on dhgate... but they were clear!

in reality the only true difference between the "stereotype" of China glass and american glass is QC [QUALITY CONTROL]

if they could get qc on lock then its justva matter if true innovation and colored glass.

hence why some times american blowers should learn to embrace the fact that china cand to mass production cheap. allowing us blowers to keep on their creative toes so to speak.

because who want to pay $500 for a honeybucket?

but who wants to worry about receiving a cracked $5 china bucket.

US calm down and create on = china keep it cheap and QC more!

I ended up throwing the Swiss Klein Recycler at her since her glass blowers are able to make Fab Eggs and Klein Incyclers. I guess we will she what she says

I gave a max price point of $100 (seemed fair since the CCG Fab Eggs are going for $70).

Here are the details:

18.8mm female joint
25cm in height
the base should be 10cm in diameter
the percolator needs to have 10 slits
the egg should have a total of 6 holes

I guess it'd be around 15cm or so for the swiss section, same again for the mouthpiece so about 30cm all up?
