Why does the brace have to be at the top on the UFO? Why not put the brace below the joint like some CCreations pieces are? I do think it needs a brace simply because of the removable MP but I agree that it is too low in its current form. I'm not sure it was on my must buy list to begin with, but that doesn't help sway me.

On another note, I noticed dhgate seller hymanquartz01 has MSmini copies with the OFZ caps up for sale but their epacket price is $25 or more. They also have some honeybuckets with caps for a great price but the shipping on those is more than the piece. Can't wait for Stevens mini to go up for sale. I didn't like it at first but the swing and cap have grown on me after watching vids of the real deal in action.

I recently had to deal with Steven over a defective FC-710.

I just want to say Steven has better customer service than half of the American companies I deal with every day. Every message of mine got a response within 24hrs.

I received my FC-710 last week and during my first water test I noticed a pin hole in the top weld.


After showing the video to Steven he asked:
"Friend,
can it use?
Steven"

I replied "Yes, I believe it can be used but still, it is defective". He then offered a 10% discount, which sounded fair to me.

Well this past weekend I tried using my FC-710 and this kept happening.


Again, I contacted Steven, attached the above video and asked if I can return the piece, he responded with:

"Dear friend,
Hi,
you are my friend,I believe you,pls throw it if it can't be used...I will send u a replacement.
Also if youwill order other,please,so that I will send u all piece together and which can save some shippingcosts.

Again it all sounds fair to me. I told Steven I was planning on placing another order in a week or two. He asked that I just add a message to my next order to remind him to include my replacement FC-710.

Hopfully that was just one bad apple, Im waiting on one aswell

Unfortunately, not the only defective fc-710. I received one on the 18th and didn't hear a rattle when I shook my package.. ball was stuck :mad:. Sent Steven a video similar to vapehunter's and he was very willing to send a replacement, didn't ask for me to buy another item to save on shipping. Very happy with his service.

I have been wanting the FC 186, so I am eager to see y'all get yours (that ordered) so we can get a better idea of what size it is, and if it's going out the door in good condition etc... I have a birthday coming up, and likely will have a little spare $ to spring for the FC 186 if it turns out to be a good one. I hope they ship out fast for you guys!

Hey guys I now share your sentiments about the low mouthpiece connection on the FC-UFO. Before my only concerns were splash which shouldn't be a problem but the points made about difficulty clearing the can are valid. Sadly Steven went forward with production on this one somewhat prematurely so this is what we get for the first batch. I have already solved the problem for a V2 model but there is the dilemma of the first ones needing to be sold before the V2 release. Hopefully at least a few of you will be willing to pick up this model and review it. Perhaps the function will surpass current expectations

I like this Idea, a simple inline with a bent neck... a nice polished up-grid would also be great if that's possible. What do you think @blankrider, does this qualify for something simple that Steven can handle?

I think the v1 has it's own squatty aesthetic that is cool on it's own. The design kind of says "hit me gently" or with restriction but they should sell out fast enough hopefully. Sweet desktop piece still.

Do want. "LIMITED EDITION" lol

Very disappointing that Steven went ahead with V1 of FC-UFO before the issue with the MP joint is corrected. Sadly, I will not be buying V1 and will wait for V2, if we ever see one.

Yes, @blankrider , I was so looking forward to this piece. Like was mentioned earlier, the use of cranberry extract (to keep the glass clean) is going to result in some bubble stacking and with that MP joint little more than halfway up the side of the can, I don't see how water will not get sucked into the joint.

Hopefully, folks here who buy gen 1 of the FC-UFO will report back with their user experience to let us know of their satisfaction / dissatisfaction.

Having some water tools made would be nice. I would really like to see a 18mm frit disc simba glass knockoff like on the vapor blunt website.

I'll probably get v1 for some of the reasons above but only to sell it that friend.. who broke the shower head of the one i sold him,
he used rice to clean it and it got stuck in the slit then went to remove it with who knows what .... he ended up with one big slit now chugs if its not held on a 22 degree angle lol!

He used rice to clean class ? I keep thinking I read your post wrong.

Intresting Ive never heard of any one using anything other than salt with iso.

Is this really "common" ? It sounds kinda strange.

Not trying to sound synical, just generally curious if theres any one who swears by rice vs salt

I just use pbw these days, but always good to stay informed.

I don't know how common it is but I don't think it is a very good idea if the granules are anywhere close to the same size as your slits.

I had a former friend get a grain of rice stuck in a perc doing this exact thing. I can't remember if he even managed to get it out. It was stuck for many months and he kept trying to sell it but no one wanted it because of the rice. I think it might have been an ATX

I'm not sure what a up-grid is, I looked it up but couldn't find anything. I kind of want something like this on the bottom instead of the inline but I think either would work for me as long as they could replicate the mouthpiece and bottle shape

Edit: I also found out the difference between upgrid and down grid lol :doh:
