He's telling me that the snow storm in New York is the delay. Well, the Dcycler came through New York so I really dont think thats the case.
Either way, its been over a month since it was shipped and tracking hasnt updated in over a month either.
Ive contacted him twice and he's pretty much blown me off and told me to keep waiting.
I know others disappeared into the blackhole around the same time mine did. Has anyone received a 710 that ordered between Jan 28th and Feb 7th?

I've learned through Kathy. The China sellers see it as, they've sent the piece, as long as they've sent the piece and it doesn't say delivered in tracking, the Chinese feel like you'll get it. They aren't going to do anything for your order as long as they've sent it and it hasn't been delivered anywhere. The only time you'll see different is if they are reaching their deadline for delivery. Just my.

I'm getting the same feedback and I ordered both the Dcycler & 710 around Jan 2nd. Still hasn't updated.

Yea... still waiting for the 710. This long wait time is really making me consider avoiding more of his pieces. Id like them to arrive before summer.
Tracking it from another website gives a slightly more detailed yet no more informative summary.
It cleared customs and departed a sort center on 2/7. Thats the last time tracking updated.
My Dcycler on the other hand, purchased from another seller, departed a sorting center in China on Feb 16th and cleared in NY on Feb 21st and of course has already been delivered a couple of weeks ago.
And youre probably right.. its shipped, not our problem. But if @alex h ordered on JANUARY 2ND and doesnt have his yet, something is definitely up with Steven's shipping process chain and doesnt instill a lot of hope Ill even see it this month as he's been waiting a couple of weeks longer than I have.

Devil's advocate, he's fulfilled his contractual obligation. Your issue is with the shipping company if he mailed by his advertised date. Plus, i'm fairly confident DHGate shipping method involves all vendors sending private curriers to DHL facility. The shipping process for the international delivery is done by DH. I don't get him being extra suspect when this could happen to any vendor, if anything isn't it reasoning against DHgate if your using boycott consumer practises rather than a specific seller not in control ?

You can't really fault Steven if it went MIA after clearing customs unless maybe the address was mangled. Could have been an issue with that shipping route/country around that time. Seems like USPS may have misplaced/lost it at this point, might be time to request a refund and reorder. Supposedly their Buyer Protection covers lost packages so you can probably get a refund even if Steven says no.
That said if Steven keeps brushing it off and does nothing to fix it (refund/reship), that is on him of course.

I dont fault him for that. I just wish he'd send a replacement instead of keeping me waiting. He's had my money almost 6 weeks.
Im not telling anyone to boycott him. Nothing of the sort. *I* just wont deal with him if its going to take this long to get stuff. The other side of this coin and the one that really worries me is that the longer its in the system, the better chance it shows up in pieces.

If the piece made it to the USA why don't you try calling the U.S. post office where it was last tracked.

I'm not defending him or anything but I don't think dhgate releases the payment until you report the item delivered/completed.

It doesnt appear to have made it to the US. Last tracking update was in China over a month ago.
There are several other people that's stuff from Steven disappeared into the blackhole of tracking on the same day and has never resurfaced.
Im sure thats true but I dont know where the cutoff is. Im sure at some point it gets released. I havent confirmed delivery.

summary. the seller has no control in releasing your payment. It releases on your confirmation in the order cart. If you don't do that, after a specific time from the tracking recording delivered a DHgate agent deals with it. He shouldn't have you funds. he is sitting right now without your payment and you without a piece. everyone loses until the dispute is solved, sadly. i'm starting to sound depressing haha. I'll end with a you're a fantastic person and have a great day

Well, 6 weeks to the day of me ordering the piece, it showed up in New Jersey. This is going to be, by far the longest piece Ive ever waited for from China. Hopefully its in one piece.

Yes mine is there too! Hopefully only a few days now.
I'm wondering about my order from Kathy now. I purchased on 3/4 and she marked as shipped and posted tracking number on 3/5. It has been past 5 days and the tracking number still isn't working. Is this typical with kathy order? With steven the tracking seems to work almost immediately, well until it entered the black hole.

@NickDlow once I have a water test video for this new prototype I will post it here. Hopefully it functions nicely. If everything is good and you guys approve hopefully we can mass produce this design within the next month

I've seen a few people mention "peyote" pillars - we haven't got any cheap peyote pieces in the works.
The "peyote" in Peyote pillar refers to a specific type of perc (essentially its a gridded showerhead).
We have The mini pillar (FC711) which has a Showerhead Perc, and the Large Pillar which has a matrix perc.

Yes @Frederick McGuire is correct, technically the large model is a matrix pillar. The name of the peyote perc comes from its resemblance to the plant
