Woo-Hoo FC-710 in hand! Exactly one month again from Steven. It looks nearly perfect. There's a small scratch inside barely worth mentioning. Gonna dab with it right now. It would be cool with a bright colored bead. There are a couple slightly rough spots that I can feel but not really see. I have to believe they never would have gotten this right without your help @blankrider. What scares me is, when they know their quality is equal, the prices will increase.

My FC710 arrived today as well. 30 days since I ordered. Seems it only took that long for the early adopters. Other than the waiting for the mail, I am totally impressed. Mine is almost flawless. One small scratch on the inside of the down stem. Probably from laying in a pile with the rest of the down stems while waiting to be assembled. When I was opening the box I heard some rattling and immediately thought it arrived broken, but then I remembered the ball. HA! That was the rattle I was hearing.

Once I confirmed it was intact, I promptly washed it and filled it and then noticed my EVO was green and ready so I thought ah shit, why not? I tossed a F to F adapter on the top of the FC710 and then proceeded to blow my head off with an absolutely huge flavorful cloud off the first pull. So impressive. The top of the bubbler and mouthpiece tube was flowing with lovely vapor the whole hit. I wasn't expecting it to hit as hard as it did and I didnt really get it for vaping but it definitely will work if you want to give it a try. I may pop my Air on it later to see how it works with it.

Now for it's true purpose... I popped on my dropdown and nail a little later and tried it out that way. Holy cow, flavor. I was blown away. I can't really say much more than others have said about the the way it handles concentrates but it is definitely a must have IMO.

I actually would buy one with a 18mm female joint just for vaping if it was ever offered, just so I wouldn't have to mess with the adapter. And I also agree with @DieHard about the colored ball. That would be an awesome touch. It would probably be impossible to get the color you wanted though. I'd end up with a pink one with my luck.

Buy it. You know you want it...

I personally like a bit more symmetrical and smooth design so here is my pitch:

I also think keeping it all one tube instead of 2 offset tubes around a central one might make it more simple to keep it all flat and level, even if my drawing isn't quite there.

I would personally love something like this and think it would be a good thing for us to design, if steven would be down to produce accessories for us...

Something like the first drawing, but with a bit of a curve in it to orient the container more vertically, could work very well.

There are other reasons this thing is designed like it is. You can stand it on end when not using it to let gravity do its thing. If you start curving the container, that isnt going to happen.

I have two people that are supposed to be making me one of these things but dont have one yet.

I was on the fence about the mini pillar, but if it's the only one of the new rigs available before cny, I might just have to grab one

It looks like he didn't suck hard at all, . Just pulled hard enough to make it bubble.

What I hate about the placement of the MP is that when you clear the piece, it takes longer and looks different than a MP that is at the tip top. The bottom empties first as it works it's way towards the top.

It is hands down one of the best pieces to come out of China. It is actually one of the first pieces I suggested to Steven and he never moved forward with it so it's very cool that someone released it and did such a great job.

I reckon if this piece http://www.dhgate.com/product/advan...quality-glass/218125920.html#cart_view-1-null gets the same quality/type perc as the FC-UFO that'd be PERFECT imo.

I agree. Higher placement of the MP is necessary IMO. It also looks a little chuggy to me... more, but smaller slits would be a good idea.

I had one made that I prefer, it's just a 1 inch length of straight 12mm OD tube welded to a 19mm GonG making it just under 2" long over-all. I do not have a pic, but it looks a lot like this one - http://aqualabtechnologies.com/glas...s/aqua-lab-tech-14-mm-vapor-hose-adapter.html - the 14mm pic is a better scale for visual reference.

You could also go with this, but I don't like the extra length... Raising the center of gravity is very bad with a whip.

This would also work and have other uses:

The most important factor is having a large enough inside diameter to not restrict the air flow.

Also, if you want to add a whip MP... we only need a glass tube 1.5 or 2 inches long in the same OD as the adapter. Cheap, simple, and it's a little nicer to put your lips on glass instead of silicone.

@blankrider +2 on that D-cycler. I used mine all weekend with a group of people new to dabbing and it was absolutely perfect. No way to suck too hard and drink water. It's super cool to watch and when you tell them it was ~$40 the looks you get are priceless.

It is hands down one of the best pieces to come out of China. It is actually one of the first pieces I suggested to Steven and he never moved forward with it so it's very cool that someone released it and did such a great job.

I have that exact piece by clean clear glass coming in, was a little hesitant since i know nothing about there reputation. But then I also ordered stevens FC 710 so even if clean clear sucks i will still get a present in the mail haha. Anyone have any cleanclearglass experience?

The angle of the adapter is not that critical to me. Though if I'm given a choice, I will probably purchase several adapters of each type, just so I have some options and versatility.

I just wish someone other than CCG would sell it...

I was reconsidering my "Fuck CCG" policy a while back when I saw some of the cool stuff they were putting out, but they've changed their shipping policy, and all shipping to australia is ~$20...
I asked them if they could bring back china air like Kathy, SSS etc use which is really cheap, and their response was something along the lines of "why would you want china air, its slow"

Ugh, no shit it's slow, the whole point of china glass is to be cheap...
When I see a price of $40-50, I figure fuck it, if I like it it's sweet, if I don't, it can be a nice gift for a buddy.
When it's $60-70 (which is what everything from CCGs store would cost me now), I start factoring in currency conversion (add $15-20), and it just stops me in my tracks...

I already get good shipping times from Kathy/SSS/Steven, fuck paying CCG an extra $20 for no reason...

I really want one of those D-Cyclers though

Ya shipping to Canada from CCG is almost as much as the piece itself which is the only reason I didn't order a d-cycler clone. Can't justify paying extra for no reason Still crossing my fingers that Kathy might get it eventually as she seems to have some overlap with CCG.

I got my Dcycler from growhighglass which is another store front for Cleanclearglass. They might list different shipping options but I doubt it. That was my only order from them, but it was fast and painless and the piece is close to flawless. That and the Fc710 are the nicest pieces from China I've ever gotten.

I received the puck recycler from CCG yesterday. I must say I am really pleased with it. The order was shipped and delivered quite promptly and I am happy with the quality of the rig. It hits very similarly to the barrel to funnel recycler. Not much of a vortex but recycles nicely and the glass is quite thick. All in all a good experience.
