I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but who did you purchase it from on Ebay? The reason I ask is because as far as I know there is only one authorized dealer to sell these devices on Ebay? If you didn't purchase it from an authorized dealer then it is NOT warrantied through W9tech.I purchased an o-light through ebay but its defective! Can i take it to the w9 shop in van nuys and swap it? Just to save time..otherwise it will likely take 2 wks more! Please?
I've read/skimmed through the past 30 pages or so and I saw mention of this combination but no real definitive answer (at least to me, I may just be slow though):
Is there any special attachments I need to use these carts or the Ophos K.I.S.S. cart with my Ego-T? I understand from reading the manufacturers post on here that this will void my warranty, which I am fine with.
Also, a waxy/taffy consistency concentrate that burns cleanly should work fine with both the KISS and standard carts, correct?
Thank you in advance for your answers, this thread has been a huge help and I cant wait to order my carts.
Maybe someone else will chime in but I think all you would need to get is a 601 to 510 thread adapter and that should do it. Probably a couple of bucks at most?
Yes, clean waxes and taffies work well in both the standard carts and KISS carts, although KISS carts can be a bit more forgiving with dirtier oils and waxes than the standard carts.

0.4g sit in the dead cartridge (empty one without white cap=7.5, dead cart=7.9) and I can't reclaim more than a tiny dab , that's why I'm asking about carts weight at the beginning of my post....
can you make a video so next time i know exactly how to extract i feel like whenever i try to extract i end up just burning the carts with my lighter but out of all 10 carts for my omicron only about 2 have gone well without problems idk what it is...You 'want it all', and without running the risk of burning it in the process?
Silly question.....everybody wants it all these days or so it seems. The real question is 'will you go to a little trouble to get it all?'.
Here's what to do. First pry or pull the center pin from the connector, it's sits in a rubber bushing and has a small wired attached inside which you can cut or break. I use long nose pliers to grab it (one tip in the hole, one on the side), but I've also pried them out with small screwdrivers and knife blades.
Next pluck the rubber bushing out of the hole, exposing the larger hole in the connector.
Then, working through that hole, push the seal, inner works and all the oil inside out the top onto a dinner plate or something clean and easy to get the concentrate off. I use a bamboo skewer, but a piece of coat hanger wire also works fine. This uses the seal as a wiper to strip everything out of the tube, it comes out oil free. Sometimes the seal is kind of glued in by concentrate, in which case heat the bottom (connecor) some with the lighter, not much, just 'pretty warm' to the touch.
This way you can not only get much of the oil out without undue heating but that .2 'lost' is mostly exposed so you can get most of it as well with a toothpick.
Once you do it once you'll see how easy it really is. It takes less and a minute.

thank you I'm bout to go buy a 2.4 cart off of ebay right now cause I'm all out and get a gram of some fire and give it a shot i also found my old fill tool but noticed that the new carts are different shaped entry for the concentrates than the old fill tool right?I'm sorry, I don't do videos.
I only do photos because of the threats Dreamer made......
If you want to use these guys, stick with 2.4 Ohm carts at 3.7 Volts until you master them. Really control what's going on. Other carts will give more vapor, and can be easier to get vapor from sometimes, but they also can get away from you very fast. And like riding motorcycles, one mistake is generally all you get. Like bikes, learn on the little guy, not the Dresser.
Load only good concentrates, do a foil test if unsure. Weigh the new cart, add no more than .5 grams to start being careful with the preheating of the center section in the instructions. Top up again when you get to .2 or so from new, most guys probably add the other half gram like I do, but stay under .75 from new in all cases, less if the goods are more liquid if you want to avoid leaks.
Never do dry burns, even for a few seconds.
Pay attention to how it's running. If it suddenly seems slow to start and low output check the battery and fill. Cooking it dry is bad karma. I think 3 grams is a reasonable life, some more, some less. Depends on the goods and how you treat it.
Good luck.

What I usually do is just put small pieces of crumble or shatter into the holes on the side of the cart then melted it down..(maybe that's how my carts were breaking??) But now that I found my fill tool againYou're welcome. Good luck. Remember to weigh it first and only put half your gram in to start.
Yes, the tool still works. The openings are bigger is all. Be sure to align the openings in the tool with the cart. Also remember to be careful to fully preheat the center, this is where most guys get into trouble I think. They melt the goods down when the center is too cold and the 'just barely melted' concentrate sticks part way down. After that happens it's very hard to get enough heat into it to melt the entire load without wrecking the seals.
Best wishes,

Then I take a torch and start spinning it around the middle of the cart then move the torch to the bottom of the cart about 1/3" up from the bottom. Then I start hitting the top of the fill tool but then when I hit the actual concentrates it always just bubbles up and gets clogged in the fill tool or I see smoke riding up which means it burns the oil right? How do I correctly go about that part... And is the reason why I lost all my blue dream crumble because I was just putting it into the holes into if filled then used a lighter on the side?
Of all the GIZMO'S that follow the carts the 2.4 is hands now my favorite cart. I have 10 new ones.I'm sorry, I don't do videos.

I'm a accident waiting to happen.I confess, that although I recommend the 2.4 to all local patients, and even here on the forum, I talk more about 2.4...
The truth is I use more 1.5 carts.
You described it well.. closer 'push'.

You ever get those caps stuck inside the cart?
