Nice, is this instead of the centauri? Does is have a longer timeout than v1? and is that a 5 ohm cart in there?

Besides no timeout, are there are more features different from the original?

the replaceable batteries, on/off feature (5 rapid clicks on, 5 rapid clicks off), better charger, matte black color option, and other attachments on its way.

No time out is a big one. I think you will find the original omicron carts will hit much better with no timeout. I get much more satisfying full hits with 10 to 15 sec draws.

I only ask because had I known an upgrade for the Omicron like that was in the works I would have refrained from purchasing it at the time I did (like 4 days ago ha) and waited for the new one to come out hah.

I can understand that aspect of things, and as long as the herb cart will work for the v1 I won't have many problems, but if the herb cart doesn't work I will be slightly upset. I was thinking that they were making the future upgrades to be compatible with the current Omicron since there was never an announcement of a new Omicron model. And seeing as I bought my Omicron set not even a week before the announcement that there would be another model and that we now find out that it could be a possibility the future attachments may not work with the v1 I wish I had waited the bit of time for the v2. I won't have the money to purchase a v2 since I ended up buying a v1. Seeing as how I am assuming the herb cart would be the one that might not work on the v1 my current unrest is mostly caused by that. so in all I am not truly upset but wish THC had given a slight heads-up to those that purchased one within the last few days ha (though I understand that is also a lot to ask)

Guys we are not letting the owners of the old omicron feeling left out, the old omicron will get either the herb chamber or cartridge.

The new Omicron with its versatility will get more options.

OK, I think I have it. It's not so much a version 2 of the Omicron as much as a stripped down Persei? That is it takes 18650 batteries, uses the same body and electronics except for no dual carts or LCD readout top? Can these be added as upgrades?

Otherwise, Omicron gets much bigger and doesn't change much in performance (except longer battery life). Will the current model still be offered?

I bought 2 omicron's, but seeing the new V2 makes me want to get the new version as well now. That's great you are not forgetting about all the early loyal customers. also would be kewl if you had a option of maybe a discount on the V2 omicron for people that have purchased older models.

Then I can not feel the need to sell one of my omicrons

saw some omis at my local dispo, that are all smaller than the ones i have.

did you guys change something about the battery??

The change was an on/off switch by pressing the button five times fast. I have seen it in the longer and shorter batteries. Nothing else changed as far as I know.
