Hey guys, is it OK to put the Hercules in the refrigerator mouthpiece up if I need to store it overnight?
I didn't finish out the herc cart last night, and I had it standing mouthpiece up but some oil started to leak a little into the bottom chamber, not much, just on the little star washer and end of ceramic rod nut.
I figure it would be ok as long as you don't use it until it reaches room temperature.
I figured I'd check to see your thoughts first.

Should I put the star washer on so it will cover the 3 holes on the bottom of the top piece? I have it that way now after cleaning so it doesn't leak into the bottom. is this right or ok, or wrong?

Also, how much better is the Hercules with the black rod runnin 3.7v?

I've tried tossing the Herc in the freezer, I've tried using the AAF to block the air ports, but neither prevents leaks if I forget the discipline of cooling down the Herc the old fashioned way. In my experience, there is no substitute for cool down puffs.

Is the hercules better with the black rod on 3.7v? I heard it takes longer to heat up, but produces better taste and vapor.

Because its extremely fluidic after a session, so i keep it straight up do the oil doesn't dry on the sides, I like to keep as much oil on the coil as possible.
Do you have any tips on the hercules? I'm still a newbie with it.
that's why I'm curious about the black rod. I'm all about the taste.
I'm trying to use it as efficiently as possible.
do you recommend covering the 3 holes with the star washer?

Loves the star for my oils Vape Dr., they just hadn't put on my titanium coils was easy to figure out after afirst mistakenly strong squirt of oil (lol), I may buy this one still, 8.4v seems the sweet spot for the HR-74 with med grade co2 oil, gawd if only we could get RSO down, here, shit.

Main point is, is this little bastard good for the HR-74, since I can't take a "The Core" kit in my pocket? All I came in here to find out, been a hell of a day. Thanks in advance.

I would think so. I just purchased 2 omicrons from a fellow FCr so now I'm good on this thread! lol
As long as your running the right volts with the right rod, I wouldn't see why not. I'll be able to tell you in a day or two when I get the omicrons. I want to try it with a black rod on the 74 with the omicron with an 2600 Mah 10amp HD 18650, I would think that would be sufficient. I'll be sure and post my findings.

Omicron (HVD)does not have an option to run 7.4 v on battery power. 18650 will not fit. The Herc SR-74 will only work with Omicron (HVD) using The Core. The batteries for the Omicron are not powerful enough to run the Herc.

Amazing discoveries i was able to make today.

I plugged the Omicron into the Triton with The Core running it at 4.9 volts and 2 ohm load which equals to around 12 watts of power, this mimics the Omicron with the 14500 battery and a .8 ohm load at 12 watts.

Why we tested with the Core? Well since we didnt cant make it in time for this testing to run it off the battery I had to improvise.

This thing ran great super tasty hits.


It does produce clouds and will make anyone happy.


Waiting on the .8 ohm parts to test it on the battery and have our regular testers see what they think.


Great things to come guys. The Omicron gets its first durable cartridge soon. Hopefully.

This is the first and only image we have of it, and its sitting on top of the Persei/Iris Combo. Sorry cant show off the internals, but once we are done im really thinking this will work with the Omicron.

@THC SCIENTIFIC triton will require the okeanos? will you be packaging them together? All your teasers are killing me, I might have to come by the shop soon!

EDIT: after triton release will there be an option for higher resistances? I would buy a 2 ohm prototype if you made it available. Higher resistance is easier on my batteries when used with VW.

Yes the Triton will require the Okeanos to make it work, they will be packaged separate as to keep the costs down.

As for the lower resistance Triton parts, it will be available to work with the Iris.

Not yet but the Triton alone will be around $50-$70. Dont quote me on it yet.

What tool do you all recommend using to load the kiss carts? I just got a hold of some butter thats peanut butter consistency but it obviously sticks to my fingers pretty good. I have a titanium dabber tool but Im told thats not good if that metal touches the coil in the kiss cart. Any idea on an easier less sticky way to load these waxes with out losing much product?

IMO ,hav found freezing best way to begin loading ( as wax/ budder warms ,it becomes pliable

w/o stickiness ,permitting to shape into Large BB before stickiness sets in ) ;)

Hey guys. I just got my omicron back from warranty. I did t get much of a chance to play with it much before I had to send it back. I've been experimenting with the core and I think I fried 2 carts in 2 days. What is the suggested voltage for the different ohm carts. I.e. 1.5 2.4 3.0 4.0 5.0...etc. also, how full do you guys fill your carts?

On our website under instructions you can find the ohm and Volts card. Be careful with the core because it is constant power where as batteries get weaker allowing the oil to cool plus giving the carts some rest .
