the HVD Tops and the mini tubes that came with the HVD kit needs to be sent back in to be switched out.

The click on click off tops will be available later on, we want to fix one issue at a time.
Thanks for the reply G! I will get the HVD top sent back to get replaced then as I do not need a replacement for the short tube.

The new tube will have your matching number and i think its better to get the matching tube to the top just incase there are thread issues. Remember this "recall" wasnt a cosmetic thing

Understood. I'm not sure how important matching is, really. Nor does this make sense to me. I'm never going to run the high voltage top on the low voltage only short tube. Matching is not important, they'll never be run together? Rather I'll be running high voltage on the long tube and the short tube with a v2 or v2.5 head. What you suggest will make the matching issue worse, not better, right?

Of the tube currently has the Omicron logo, for the HVD we have the Omicron logo on the top. If we only change out the top, people will come back and tell us later that the logos dont match we want to do it one time and be done with it. I cant make exceptions, its going to be standard for everyone so we dont run into issues anymore.

What? Well what if I don't mind the logo mislocation? and already sent in my top? and top only... like a week and a half ago. we were never told: we will not replace it and you will pay for the shipping back for your top

Hey, please explain a bit more if you can. Can I just send in my old hvd top? Interested in knowing more about this full upgrade

I understood that as: my tube logo would not match... but never would have concluded that my top would not be replaced and i would have to pay all the shipping only because i don't mind the logo location and my threads are fine on my top, so i kept my top

Am I at fault?

I Think G may be at fault for this not rcflo. Post #9106 one page back on September 26th G says "If you only send us the top, then your tube logo will not match the top, plus we changed the location of the logo".
Then rcflo directly asked G if he could just send in the top and this is G's reply #9108 "Its not a upgrade, its a exchange to fix the on/off issue. You need to send us the top and tube. He never said anything about refusing to replace just the top he just said they won't match, which I would take to mean you can send in just the top if you wanted at your own risk.

Maybe my thinking is wrong, but if so G should have told rcflo that a week ago. He asked G that exact thing and G said nothing of the sort.

Krazzy gets where I'm at, probably explained it better too. I reallywouldn't expect them to pull a shifty one even just for customer service sake, so I guess I'll see what happens

I, like OF do not have any issues with logo placement, will only use the HVD top with the long tube and the 2.5 top with the short tube. I am perfectly happy with what I have. Do I have to go through this "exchange"??

Ahah, there is my mistake. I misunderstood the hvd top to be the replacement for my top... I thought the hvd top WAS 2.5 and vice versa. Well, bummer. What can you do, honest mistake ? :) I guess I got too excited when i saw upgrade tops, and my medicated self didn't do as much research as i should have and sent in my top. Good thing usps is so cheap

Guys please return your HVD Top and Battery Tube only, please do not send in the bottom cap. We will replace the top and tube to get a matching unit.

Guys in all fairness post numbe 9106 page 365. I specified top and tube. Not top only or anything else. Says right there top and battery tube.

As for rcflo sending in a v2 top, please provide me with your tracking number and your information in a pm so that i can find your top.

Thanks, the logo will not line up with the original long tube, but we have a fix for this also. Just wait about a month please.

Really I don't care about the logo line up on the long tube so much :). Just thought I would ask, but really waiting on Hercules and new leak proof carts and other new toys!

I too am waiting patiently for the leak-proof carts. No more wasted wax or oil.

Anyone else having trouble with the standard battery charger with the omicron V2? I plug the charger in either batteries and it stays red for about 3 minutes and then turns green. I put the batteries in my omi and they instantly flash blue and have no juice in them.

While TRM is giving good advice in the general case, I'm still convinced it's a single channel charger. Meaning to get here you'd need two dead batteries (possible, but not common at the same time....) or a problem with that single charge channel (it's common to both batteries). Troubleshooting theory says to look first for 'single point failures', that is ask the question 'what one broken thing explains everything I see?'. Here that's one charger, not two batteries.

So, against conventional wisdom, I'd try a different charger first. Then again, I've got a couple of charger options......

I would agree with OF on this, the charger might be the issue. Call Delta9vapes.com they will handle it if its under warranty.
