Benefits of Vaporizing with Butane
The hydrogen from the burned butane created water. This water is now in the form of a little extra humidity. Humidity increases heat transfer, exactly why a damp cold feels colder than a dry cold. It works the same for heat i.e. steaming food. This superheated steam can vaporize better than drier air.
Humidity also discourages burning (oxidation). This will improve the quality of your actives. CBN the non-psychoactive cannabinoid is produced by the oxidation of THC, this will preserve THC levels. Cannabinol
Since some of the oxygen in the air was used to burn the butane there is less oxygen to oxidize the THC.

^ The Pocket Vape would have made a big splash several years ago, but the inventor fiddled around with the design too long, and wanted to price it too high. When the aim was high production, he wanted to price it like a Volcano, which was way too high IMO. People just aren't gonna pay that much for a flame based pocket vape, no matter how good it is. Since many small portables have been introduced in the last few years, the guy seems to have given up on producing it in mass, and doubled the price for custom orders. Get one if you're a rich vape collector. Otherwise, it's just a good design with poor timing and marketing.

The I-Vaps looks to be very similar to the Vapolution in most respects, just without a big, mica filled plastic body.

I bought the top of a similar item to the vapor bat(may have been that actual model) oddly enough in the same color too(though a bit more metallic). It was terrible as at first hit whatever filter was in there starting to really burn and the flame barely hit it. Never had this issue with the VG bat I have. In the end it was no biggie as I only spent $5 for it at a local whole sale head shop.

I've been putting off a large scale intro in order to get feedback and see how well the glass handles repeated heating with a butane torch... so far, so good. I just increased the wall thickness of the heat exchanger to enhance the overall durability of the piece. I'll create a post later on so you can see how to get one at a greatly reduced rate

Hey, I'm glad you got the word Gnome! My love for the vapocane inspired me to email you, because I love the idea of a simple glass vaporizer which works off of retained heat. Can't wait to try a gnome, as it has the potential to work even better with its multiple thickened-up areas to increase air turbulence.

Sadly they've been auto-deleted by now and so I can't see what you posted - I ended up here just after another member mentioned they had seen my product in this thread (Hooah O'hooey? <3). At any rate, I've removed the filter and welcome questions and comments...

About your other questions:
I have a patchwork cloth case available for the vape to enhance portability. A hard case may be warranted but I feel it so far unnecessary, as both pieces of glass are pretty robust. If demand arises for a hard case in the future I'll definitely put it on "the list."

International shipping will be possible at a slightly increased charge. I'm going to try to do free shipping within the US and something like $6 additional for most international orders.

Using concentrates is possible, but I have another all-glass product that works a bit better if concentrate usage is the main goal. The mouthpiece of the gnome vape collects oils over time and heating the section that oils collect in yields a pleasant vapor, but I could see it being difficult to use solely for concentrates. The best way I've found so far has been to put some of said concentrate onto the ground up plant matter when vaporizing.

Waterpipe usage is possible. The size of the mouthpiece is 9.5mm and thus fits into anything that takes a standard slide. I make a bubbler that accepts either the vape or a standard slide, which works quite nicely. An o-ring is not strictly necessary. A dual flame lighter or table top torch is the best bet for waterpipe usage.

A version using Ground Glass Joints has been made, but it is larger in diameter and thus slightly bulkier, and needs more heat to use. The standard gnome vape only requires a torch lighter - I use a Ronson JetLite, which works but takes a little longer to heat up. Best results come from a table top torch or two flame jet lighter. GGJ version will not work with dinky lighters, and is more expensive. Pending demand, I'll postpone the GGJ version for now. Both versions do NOT work with any yellow flame lighter
