next generation e-nails?

haha... I just checked that out. Makes sense that its a clone since its so cheap.... i will say this though. The heating "coil" is actually heat induction tech or whatever, and the high temp poly (or cheap plastic, whoever you believe) never gets more than slightly warm. I do about .75g of great bho daily, and this stays turned on all day. almost 4 months now, and no problems. Just perfect 710 degree rips. Plus 2 year warranty.

Of course i am not saying that you should willy nilly buy chinese knockoff products, but... i bet if you look at your computer or phone, or virtually any electronic around you right now, it says china somewhere on it. And im sure that every single american e-nail company uses at least some chinese sourced parts.

Anyways, if i had the bg bucks, I'd go smart dabb... but im always broke, and i love my BestE-Nail.

wow. never thought i'd sounf like such a fan-boy.

Happy Dabbing!

"big bucks"? smart-dabb is cheap to begin with.
mr. 3 posts doesnt think hes a fanboy.
2 year warranty. hahahah. i doubt the chinese even honor that either.
just another copy/paste from smart dabb.
I dont really care what the chinese say its made out of.

It is literally listed as "plastic" on alibaba. you be the judge of whether its "high temp poly".
I dont want to judge but i wouldnt trust these chinese knock offs to even be Titanium (nevermind grade 2) or steel in the places they say they are.
Clearly the company has no morals when it comes to theft.

The majority of the material list is stolen from smart dabb, copy pasted word for word and these companies dont give a shit. what makes you think they would care about your safety?

why would the build materials be what they say they are if these guys dont care about getting in trouble?

Your point about using chinese parts in american vaporizers is moot.
Its all about the companies reputation; theres nothing wrong with using chinese parts as long as the american company is trustworthy enough to inspect the parts for safety.

We're here to fuck shit up.
Isn't the Smart Dabb listed cheaper that this knock off? What exactly is magnetic induction heating? I posed this question to the actual company a couple weeks ago when I saw this thing starting to show up on Ibstagram and haven't received a response yet. I need to see video of that water pipe in action. You'd have to fill the entire can with water to submerge the upside down tree perc, which then would assuredly shoot water into your mouth with every single draw.

Yea, I cant imagine how that perc works upside down. Just looks like a straw effect would occur, drinking up the water.

I'm certain you've done your research, but just musing aloud the idea that an electric motor that is stuck usually burns up. Induction heaters are what you call stuck motors that aren't burnt out yet :) :science::whoa:

IKR! Likely someone in the factory made a prototype getting that detail wrong from a blueprint - rumor has it many glassworkers in deepest, darkest China don't know or realize the actual application and just view it as a scientific piece without much regard to function. I'm not sure how much I buy into that (the majority of folks I've known or at least from that area are anything but "clueless", for purpose as well as being quite experienced themselves), but I can see how a slightly-wrong prototype can be replicated once the production line starts off, since it's the standard to which the other pieces get measured. :ugh:

The perc is simply upside-down! Given the staggered arms with the longest so close to the neck stem, any volume the can would give is simply not usable. Granted, some people may find this works fine, and nothing against that at all, however, if there's something I'm missing, let me know.

LOL when did the Smart-Dab become a high end/priced product? IIRC that thing is dirt cheap.

I tried to order from alibaba, talked to a guy named jack who quoted me 155 to buy one unit.... But then its 70 bucks in shipping and a 10 dollar paypal fee. So if you ever have to return or refund you lose all that shipping cost. and ony offers a short warranty period. smart dabb And BestEnail both have a 3 yr warranty

Also, it says 1 day shipping, but they mean 1 day until they ship it. its still gonna take 5 days to 10 days to get here via boat.

I guess what i mean is... Smart-dabb digital = $549.00 BestE-Nail digital = $329.00

smart dabb digital coil heater = $549.00 D-Nail.com DIY kit = $350.00
BestE-Nail digital coil heater = $295.00

again, I'm not swimming in cash so a 220.00 price difference is substantial to me.

and yes, I would feel pride in getting the "name" brand. But im always trying to do things on the cheap....
and this time I'm actually happy i did.

what really ticks me off is that if you look at the pid controllers on every unit available from every brand... there are only two different ones that are being used...so why do some folks charge twice the price?

No they dont. Smart dabb has a warranty. BestEnail copy and pasted smart dabbs website, so the exact same sentence is used. There is no reason to believe they would actually honor a warranty. or even make it out of the parts they say, or have any quality assurance.

There is CLEARLY one part made of plastic (listed on alibaba) that is made of carbon fibre in the original smart dabb. But the copy paste tends to forget to change that. Who knows what this is vape is actually made out of? I do not trust them. All they have done is copied.

Great Scott!
Anyone liking the 710 whip? I don't NEED an enail, so if I get one it'll probably be that. I'm finding I like my ceramic nails more than quartz, which I already liked more than titanium.

The 710 whip looks like such a good price, but IDK I haven't found any real reviews.

I'm very interested in it also... looks like a low temp beast.
Let us know if you come across any reviews. :)

I hate the domeless website and their product descriptions. If I wanted to get their adjustable ceramic nail to use with an off the shelf flat coil, which one do I need to get? The $30 one? The $40 one? I'm at a loss here.

I believe you want the $15 bowl and nut and the $30 Universal adapter.

I spoke to the owner just now and got it all sorted out. He's even including some free shit for me to try out since I pointed out how confusing and shitty the website was (I was nice about it and he agreed after he looked it up himself).

Id buy that guy if I could see a review.

Like I cant find a single thing about this unit outside of their own postings.....

It appears they registered their website Sept 24, website went online the 27th. I also could not find much or any info on these. I found onee user on reddit who claims to own one and love it. The website looks legit. The area code on the website is 203 prefix, Michigan. It wouldn't hurt to to try to give em a call and ask some questions. While just now researching the terpx, I ran across this link:

Well, I got myself an Enail the other week and have had some time to play with it, as well as to go through Ti, quartz, and ceramic nails. I figured now would be a good time to post up about this, and this seem the appropriate venue.

The Enail in question is made by Nectar Nail.

The unit in question is pretty standard. Digital controller, smallish footprint, 5-pin connection. The unit itself, is supposed to be well programmed and allows for slower controlled heat ups to preserve coil life, as well as not allowing heat to spike on initial warm-up.

Following them on Instagram, I was able to snag my unit for $300 shipped, and that included both a Ti nail as well as a quartz nail + some free silicone containers and a quartz dabber. Customer gets a choice of the 16mm (15.8) barrel coil or the 16mm (15.8) flat coil. I opted for the barrel since that's the only one what fit both the Ti and quartz nails.

Everything comes with a 1 year warranty, after which things can be replaced "for a small fee".

Fast forward from ordering a bit, and I get the unit within 3 business days. It was very well packaged, with every part individually boxed/bubble wrapped. Ships out of Colorado and came USPS 2-3 day Priority mail. The only problem I had was that the Ti nail I got was male and not female, like I had expected. A quick email to their customer support got it squared away and they ended up sending me an entire new nail (not just the bottom female adapter)! So I basically got 2 interchangeable Ti nails and a quartz nail in this deal. Nice!

The first thing I tried was the quartz nail. The taste on it was AMAZING, but I just couldn't get satisfactory clouds and the oil would pool on the cup floor. Further research revealed that this is a common issue with a lot of quartz Enails, seeing as how the floor of the nail typically is never directly heated... and quartz sucks balls for heat xfer. Speaking with NN about this, they confirmed it can be an issue and that they are working on a redesigned quartz nail with a raised floor (to better heat the bottom of the cup with a barrel coil), as well as some club banger style quartz nails!

But I digress...

I then moved on to the Ti. This was actually my first experience with Ti, having always used quartz. This wasn't an issue, obviously, since I got badass performance right out of the box. Dialed in 700° F on the controller, let it warm, and it hit like a champ right off the bat. My only (slight) disappointment was that it didn't taste as good as the quartz. :( Not to say it tasted bad, but I am a flavor snob and I could tell the difference... even so slight as it was.

This then leads to me look into ceramic options. I believe it was this thread (or maybe another, IDK anymore) that took me over to the domeless.com website. From there, I purchased the adjustable 2 piece ceramic nail w/ universal adapter. The guy over at Domeless (awesome guy and customer service as well BTW) was kind enough to also include a 2nd cup without the adjustable nut, since the threading might be too wide for the coil to fit over...

And he was right. I ended up having to use the non-adjustable nail, with Domeless' optional ceramic washer/piece of boro tube "kit", to rig the coil up against the bottom of the ceramic cup. Its a bit more bulky and superfluous, but it gets the job done and seems pretty solid once assembled. Performance wise Id say its on par with titanium but with the flavor retention of quartz. Given that I never need to unevenly heat, or overheat the nail with a manual torch I dont foresee longevity being an issue baring an accident of some sort, either. Hopefully this will spare me from any of the cracking issues people see with manually heated ceramic nails.

Regardless, this is without a doubt, my favorite setup out of the 3.

Oh, and about that coil! Yes, I also ended up ordering a flat coil from Nectarnail @ $65 (they charge $95 on their website if you buy it a la carte). This is the coil I should have went with to begin with. It fits and works on the titanium and ceramic nails SOOOOOOO much better. Heat is much more evenly distributed, and its much more efficient as I do not see the unit heating up as much to stay at temp... plus I get very little temp drop when hitting the piece compared to before. Then again that could also be because of the ceramic.

Anyway... to sum it up, I think this was money well spent, especially in the name of science. If I were to do it again, I would simply get their cheaper deal either with just a Ti nail, or just the unit/coil itself. In either case, I'd then add the ceramic nail after the fact. Also, I want to say that I love and hate having this thing. I love it because it makes dabbing so effortless! I also hate it because it makes dabbing so effortless...

And now here are some beauty shots, as to not make this post so dry!

Here's the unit, with a small OS pad for size comparison:

And since I know someone will ask, here's a better shot of my pink slyme drop-down from Rick Bird:

Oh and before I forget, I should note that the temp is high on the unit because I found (for whatever reason) the ceramic doesn't get as hot at the same settings as say, titanium.

700 = ~700° on Ti.

777 (Im not kidding) is ~600° F on the surface of the ceramic nail. Also if there is enough interest, the rep I spoke to at NN said we could get an FC discount going.

Seems like new enails are moving towards the flatter coil mounted on the bottom of the nail.

My friend picked up a 710Whip over the weekend with the same design. Before I hit that I thought analog enails would be kinda shitty- turns out I was wrong. That thing, combined w/ a carb cap is one of the better dabbing pieces I've hit, and that's compared to products that cost several times as much (VB2, HE enail, mothership bucket).

I haven't used an Enail, but with the Sublimator Apollo v1.0 gave me the smoothest and most flavorful dabs yet. The only time my ti nail gets used is when someone borrows it.

After browsing this thread I would build my own or just get the 710 whip if I didn't own a Sublimator. The Sublimator is pretty nice for dabbing as well, but much more expensive. Don't overlook the Sublimator Enail if your into dabbing. The thing can handle 1 gram dabs at a time.

Not sure why anyone needs to do 1 gram dabs, but you can always turn the heat up on a standard enail to do the same. In that regard, with the 710whip, I noticed that max temp is 600F. Now IDK if he means at the heating element or the nail itself (one would assume at the element). That being said, I remind you that I need to bump my heat up past 750 at the element to get 600° F on my ceramic nail. The same ceramic nail that comes in the 710 kit. True, you can dab at lower temps, but I found it wastes quite a bit of oil that way and the hits aren't nearly as dense (effective).

Man.. decisions, decisions.

One of my buddy's friends makes quartz nails so I can get something custom made to fit any of these, just so many choices and the prices just keep coming down.
