I guess that limits some of my sentiment to a more laughable plane. My theory of healthy cannabis usage
I don't think a thread like this is going to create any harmony in the FC neighborhood. This had disagreement and contention written all this, when I saw it in the other thread.
When you start preaching to the masses with that holier than thou mentality it's sure to bring some anger out in some individuals.
It seems like you have everything all figured out for everybody with that one step approach. Why would you even set up a thread like this? Is it to make yourself feel superior over others?
I think most the FCers are adults on this forum and they don't need someone to tell them how they need to lead their lives. Most folks seem mature enough to decide how they want to spend their time.
Your attitude seems to be to amuse yourself and others. I don't think that is a good way to spend your time. It's like there's a mocking and a petty undertone to all this. I'm not sure what your motives were in all this? Did you want to make others feel badly about themselves?
If these wise words of wisdom work for you and the way you live your life, may you spend many happy years on this planet. But don't tell others how to live their lives.
You're making my case for me here. If a person can't feel good/ok/normal without cannabis (or any other substance) there is a dependency issue.
If you're going to put something in my mouth, please make sure it's a freshly loaded vape. I will also accept Dr Pepper.
Wise on both counts @CarolKingI don't think a thread like this is going to create any harmony in the FC neighborhood. ......
..... But don't tell others how to live their lives.
I think that the OP was a little bit put out with all of us who talk 24/7 about the positive aspects of meds, and of the joys of 24/7 vaporization, and just felt it was time to say his piece. You're making my case for me here......
Kinda nice of you lwien but with 20 years using mj I really hope the OP isn't college age.
The weed is better now but if you listen to the "know-nothings" on TV, who all seem to be cannabis experts yet none of them actually use it, they say the medicine is so strong now that its a danger.
actually, Mr. O'Reilly has substance abuse issues and self control issues ... he may see things as black and white. which certainly lines up with his audience - so i'm told, so i'm told ... i never watch him except for clips on Colbert or Daily Show ... i can get hoarse from screaming, sometimes. good thing i'm in the woods. and in a sound proof house.
Bill O'Reilly..."Danger.....Danger......The weed today is MUCH stronger than it used to be and poses a major health risk." - snip -
I remember in 1960s, a friend talking about treating seeds and plant genetics. The funny thing is 40 odd years ago they were saying the same thing, that pot was much stronger and dangerous and watch out.
I usually prefer non-polarized stances, so in this instance the "use it all the time" crowd is one end of the polarity, with the opposite being the abstinence crowd. I put myself in the middle because that is my basic nature.
I have no obligation to try to foster unity, especially when my opinion goes against the grain of popular, polarized opinion, provided that I proffer my opinion with respect.
This is simply my experienced opinion that kind of "slipped out" in another thread, and I figured that it was worthwhile to express it fully so that it could possibly help someone who may be struggling with finding a balance in their lives with cannabis. No other reason.
