@mistvaporizer I don’t have a full understanding of the internals and how everything’s laid out, but I do have a small suggestion for you.
The placement of the airflow adjustment feels a little too close to the bottom edge to me, but more importantly it looks *almost* aligned with the hole above and the stem. Being so close to that line, I think it looks like it was intended to be in line but accidentally offset slightly.
Moving it into alignment *or* more out of alignment could eliminate that feeling. If there was a way to move it to the bottom, that could also work (but would make it more difficult to manually cover with the mod you mentioned or to adjust during use).
With that out of the way, I mostly want to say that you seem to have a well designed device that users I’ve heard from like, so I really hope that one of only 2 testers not being into a more restricted airflow doesn’t deter you from continuing to improve and produce what seems like a great device that you’ve put a lot of time and effort into!
I make films, and they haven’t all been fantastic, but I do seek feedback. I’ve had to get used to the fact that no choice I make will please everyone, and I have to do what I think is best (even when that means re-editing or re-shooting something after getting feedback that changes my mind).
Sometimes there’s a project that’s just not worth the extra time or a scene that needs to be cut, but the MVT2 doesn’t look like a project ready for the scrap-heap. If it’s not the best it can be yet and you solicit open and honest feedback from users then implement the changes that make the most sense to you, you may be surprised at how well it does and how many people want one, especially if you get a great beta version into some more avid posters’ hands.
Good luck with it, and whatever happens you can be proud to have developed a vaporizer that’s well regarded (if not well known enough yet) in the most knowledgeable and discerning group of herb vape users in the world.
I’m sure I’ll be checking this thread more in the future, so I hope to hear great things!
