When Chicago hit, as a band, they were so unique, touching into rock, jazz, pop, almost big band, and blues.
It was easier for a while to pigeon-hole Chicago as an older generation's music, (no horns in Rock n Roll!) but any close listen, especially to Terry's guitar work, showed much more.
During his play In this video, I see the moves that later Dave Grohl exaggerated.
But unlike someone like Grohl, Kath was a guitar player's guitar player.
