You know, the first thing I thought about when I read they wanted it destroyed was to destroy the Matrix perc in particular... though I did also think about getting it on a custom piece (that isn't $10,000 )Don't destroy the matrix perc...just the outside glass. Keep it and have a blower put it in a custom piece for you.
It can be done! Break can then pause vid, remove perc, resume vid, add lots of visual shake and stop ...The End. Doesn't need to be a cinematic masterpiece.Good luck getting that perc out intact while destroying the can on video. I say blow it up. Know someone with a Samsung Note3? Borrow it and use the slow motion video function. This will be YT and social media GOLD.

I've actually had the same request from a different company - Road Ready Cases, which make excellent Anvil-Style rack cases sent me a defective one. They told me to send pics of it smashed so they knew I wasnt going to try to sell it. I did and they sent me a replacement quickly.Unbloodybelieveble I think !!!

If they don't believe you, they can sort the shipping back, their fault for sending such a crooked tube pass two QC!
And why could you not keep both (once you get the replacement), what arm will it do, you the paying customer got the crooked piece after paying good money, so to me it seems only fair to have some kind of compensation in return, why or why should you have to destroy it?
Who are they to set such conditions following THEIR error???
Anybody would think they doing you some kind of favours....

I have recently purchased the Ion and the clear and both mouth pieces are not strait im pretty disapointed. I dont have much experience with this grade of glass but there are also bubbles in the glass near where the mouth piece meets the can. I got it a month ago form ALT but didnt think it was wrong until a mate told me and then found this forum since then it really annoys me. When you spend almost $800 on glass i would have expected better especially from a company with such an outstanding reputation. I too feel like i have been handed second class products as i am overseas and it may have been swept under the rug.

My mouthpieces are a lot worse on both mine than that one shown a few pages back too. does anyone have a way i can contact Mobius directly?Do you plan on doing something about it? This is the only way it will stop. It's BULLSHIT IF (IF!) ALT is pawning off the not so great pieces to oversea's purchasers. It should never have anything to do with it. It's either ALT or Mobius but either way, the customer shouldn't suffer....$400 glass should NOT be of questionable quality!
