What's the difference between an Ion Bubbler and a Clear Bubbler besides the size of the base?
someone had a great graphic that showed them all side by side, but also the perc isn't as tight/i.e. larger & wider slits in the clear. What's the difference between an Ion Bubbler and a Clear Bubbler besides the size of the base?
I made a cutting plane draw of different pieces. It is something i missed when i was trying to compare them side by side.
The 65T and 65B are made from pictures so the measures are approximate. Everything else is accurate.
For more convenience, i've made straight junction when it was actually more round.
Maybe i should remove the Black Leaf and Arizer since it is a Mobius thread but it give a scale if you own one of them.
...I had a piece with a showerheadhead dewar and would run a showerhead downstem inside the joint. Aside from reducing the stem, it also makes cleaning much easier...
...
Jus want some opinions. Thanks
I think I need a clear matrix.
.....
My clear matrix is my favourite piece of glass.
Not just my favourite möbius, my favourite piece period.
...
If you'd like any suggestions for non-mobius pieces that belong right along with them in a collection, let me know.
There are a few pieces (well, I'm sure there are many, but there are a few I've owned) that I think compliment the function and aesthetics of a mobius piece quite nicely.
Sorry if this is a basic question, kinda new to the glass game. But whats the deal w using hot water and then cold real quick while cleaning your piece? I know thats a no-no, from the temp change and could crack the glass. But I heard something about how people are using better glass now...preferably the top companies....that prevents this? Is their any truth to this?
Thanks......jw cuz im always hesistant when cleaning my glass to make sure I dont do this. And didnt know if I was doing all that for nothing. Theres a common sense factor obviously ..from not just having hot ass water then turning it right to cold as ice right away.....Im not that dumb but jw about the basics.
I blasted thought the joint of my mobius with a spray of hot steam to see it bubble and see if I could clean it that way. I thought water couldn't go over 100°C that should be ok. Dumb. The piece was cold when I did it.
trainwreck is a sick strainDamn man, that sucks real bad. Sorry to hear that!
Fair question with an easy answer. It's difficult to compare; Apples & Oranges. The 60t, Pillar, & Stem8, are quite different in function/design from one another. Each of those SG pieces are smooth hitters, & both models are larger in volume than a 60t (which should be considered). No more off-track post; on to some mobius-centric rants & questions.I dont wanna switch this thread to non-Mobius pieces......so sorry to anybody offended by this question and if its outta context.
But one piece that has always caught my eye is the - Sov Peyote Pillar and Stem 8...........how would you compare that to the 60t? Thanks
I happily received my Clear Micro RETI Bubbler last evening. 2 Thumbs Up for KULTURE, I recommend shopping with them. Anyways, I had always assumed that the pull on a RETI would be similar to a circ.
I am still not 100% adjusted to the large volume of this bubbler, & need to find my preferred/best water-level. Any suggestions would be welcome on water level. As of now, I am still unable to describe it. I feel I haven't 'tapped in' to its full potential, yet . To be continued...

Speaking of comparisons, or lack thereof, I have always been curious as to what the RETI perc hit like. Particularly in one of the micro bubblers. NICE PICK UP! I am quite jealous, as I feel I need to grab one of those, after enjoying the size of the Reti.My Mobius Matrix clear bubbler just came in from the ALT sale. I have not found any defects. Too bad I don't have an EVO yet but I plan on milking this baby very very soon with my enano.

I am beyond excited. Just made my first glass piece purchase, in over 8 years! Picked up the stemless Mobius Stereo Matrix Bubbler (65B) from the ALT sale after checking 3x a day since it started. The wait is going to kill me.
Any pieces you could PM me to start looking for now that I finally made my first purchase!, already wondering what the next step should be!
Pumped!!!
So, Mobius is still making the 65B? I was under the impression they only make the 60B now....?
