MMJ for head cold, stuffed sinuses ??

Hi,
would vaped cannabis work for a head cold/ stuffed sinuses? My wife gets that a lot/ has it now.
Would it have a decongestant effect, help to unplug this stuffiness??

That's my take in all the years I've never found it helps apart from you can sleep and dulls the effects
