I don't wanna go down this road, but vapexhale was no different after many, many attempted launches. Now, I know it's different because at least they had vids and a presence here, but it still sucked big time.

You know that Vaporfection are reading this thread forsure, and not posting, so that turns me right off, but damn if it ever IS released, it could be one heck of a portable.

I think it'll come out about the same time as the Apple TV.
I tried the ViVape at the last Cannabis Cup, and liked it quite a bit- smooth and quiet. Met the inventor and his wife. And of course the sales guy. Since I already had a volcano my interest was in the MiVape. Sorry to see this taking longer than hoped

No, its said late december since they failed to release it in November of last year and they just left it where it is . It also said expected delivery in march 2012 and then May 2012 But that was placed where it currently says in pre production testing blah blah blah and even when it had thoses dates it still said late december at the bottom of the description

Battery powered, with adjustable temperature range of +/- 320 to 375 F

If miVape's highest temperature is only 375 F (equivalent to level 3 on the Arizer Solo), I'd rather wait for the Ploom Pax (370 F to 410 F), due for release in early August.

Although I agree, (3 is ok on solo, but would be really nice to get up to 4 or 5), I still think these temps aren't as accurate as we think, and it's completely possible to get thicker vapour than we expect at the temps they are claiming.

Since they've already said hello and chimed in, it's just a matter of time before they start answering all our questions (hopefully!).

Have you read the Da Vinci thread recently? I'd wait till they work out the off-gassing issues.

Right on, mistergyro! I have 3 questions for Vaporfection:
*Each and every one of several 'vaporfection mivape' videos, shows the vaporfection vivape instead. Why mislead potential customers?
*Competing portable vaporizers charge no more than US$250, so how does Vaporfection justify their US$300 price tag?
*Why does Vaporfection ask for pre-orders, without giving any indication of when the mivape will become available?

Do I still want one? Let's just say, the mivape has dropped from 1st to 4th place on my shortlist, below Ploom Pax, Inhalater, and DaVinci.

Well I was actually enthused when I first saw the Mivape. I wouldn't get the vivape due to the forced air path, and the lack of an adequate cooling system, but the Mivape always looked like something I would buy. However, when looking at this thread, I'm quite put off by it. It really seems like they're referring to this December for the release, but I had no idea that has been up since last year. I'll probably just stick with the pax as my portable vape. A friend is buying it, so I'll at least be able to try that out before I buy it.

Nope, vapornation recently upgraded their website. When they upgraded it removed the preorder part from the description. The puffit on their website still says pre sale:shipping july 1st
