In order to find a way to remove this silicon nipples I got the idea to use my HerbalAire teflon mp (Elite model mp, upper part only) like I use it with my HerbalAire 2.2: I load directly in the tiny room. This setup fits very well (but not perfectly) my MiniVap quick Glass core without airleaks but it doesn't fit the original teflon core sadly. But there is no basket and no silicon nipple.
The abv comes out a lot darker than used with a basket screen and hits are enormous and tasty! Just tested this setup through water, I'll test it dry this evening.

Here the promised pics of my new setup, HerbalAire teflon mp on the MiniVap quick glass core:

Works like a treat, since the pics I added a thick o-ring to the mp to avoid any wear and tear on the MiniVap, the o-ring is outside of the chamber and is not heated by the hot air stream at all.

The previous stup I mentioned works like a treat! Immediate thick clouds even from a micro-dose of moist flowers killed in 1 big hit!

I tried another setup with the teflon core but didn't get the same results at all.... but I will try later again.
The setup mentioned above I'm using actually with my QGC (with a HA Elite mp) is one of the heaviest hitter I ever experienced, I can kill a small bowl in one tasty and massive hit! Finally I regret less the Herborizer Ti cause between the Volute, MiniVap and I-Heat I'm well covered with heavy hitters.
The six shooter bubbler I received a week ago was coming with a glass combustion bowl which fits the MiniVap very well a bit like the Vrip wand and is nice for tasty hits but less cloudy since the load is a bit far of the heater but still pretty impressing imo!
MiniVap is more versatile than I thought initially, a lot of ways to use it and the taste seems a lot better without the silicon nipples.

I am now the proud owner of a miniVap and so far I'm loving it. Special thanks to MinnBobber and stickstones for their kind advice along the path. This beats my old Solo and Pax by a country mile and is a great companion for my venerable Volcano. As others have said about the quality and efficiency: great taste AND less filling.
I'll probably have a couple questions but for now: how is miniVap pronounced?!! Does it rhyme with ape or with app?
And I'm figuring out my own use but I'm curious how many hits most people get out of one small basket. I know that everyone is different, but I thought I'd ask.

- Teflon or glass ?
I think technically it's pronounced VAP rhymes with APP but I give it my version, VAPE rhymes with APE.
When I used the correct version, people would ask what is a small VAP????
When I use miniVAPE, they say, oh, so a small VAPE or small vaporizer. And I say, it's a vape but I wouldn't call it small
# hits? Tough to say as I do microdoses, about 0.015, so that's like 1/5 of the small basket.
I often get 3 or 4 hits. I rarely start at blue temp. Usually #2 temp (blurple) for a hit and then green for a hit, and then red for a hit. Then it takes 2 seconds to unscrew cover with flexi still attached and slip onto Herbalizer for final fan assisted hit at 445.
Actually, hits 1 and 2 are often in daytime and hits 3 and 4 from same basket are in evening for more sedative effects

Thanks! I got it through Planet of the Vapes (black friday special) and they only sell the QC, so that's what I have, in Teflon.
I can see that by microdosing you'd really be maximizing flavor. So far I've only gone with the green temp but I'm going to try the escalating method. (I do that with the Volcano but of course that's a different story.) I've been packing the small basket about half or 2/3 full and have been really surprised by how many hits I get. I only use it at the end of the evening and I'm trying to figure out the right amount in the basket for 3-4 hits.

The upgrade will perform the same. It’s new batteries in your shell rather than buying a new shell as well.
Funnily enough, I am using my minivap for the first time with the lid
I am getting a whistling sound and I don't see an o ring.
I am using the plastic straw, which if I take that by itself and blow through it from the opposite end, it is that which whistles

Almost there...
Broke out my ancient OG Teflon core from about 4 years ago...
I have been using the new QC Teflon and really like the quicker heat up time but i still feel as if it has affected the flavor slightly.
The OG longer heat up time is a bit of a pain but the rewards are worth it imo!
Flavor lasts a lot longer, clouds a bit smaller but a more enjoyable extended session.
Think i may have to use the QC through water from now on!

Concentrates today, same setup than mentioned previously, MiniVap QGC on red level (max t°). Soaked wax in a tiny amount of cotton fibers. First clouds was already pretty dense and very nice in taste, after 3-4 hits I took the cotton ball out to spread the concentrate (and get more hot air hitting the oil), go back in the teflon HA adaptater and the subsequents hits (how much?
I can't remenber!!) were the bigger i had to handle until now, the room was totally clouded, taste was slightly faded here but potency was unreal and this session let me stoned like my first bong in my life (I exagerate a bit here cause my tolerance increased a lot since I was a teenager).
And I thought the MV was not nice for concentrates.... my mistake!
I gave a look to my old teflon core and I have a glass tube which would possibly fits the teflon core's bowl.... without the teflon ring...
I'm afraid to take it off again (the teflon ring) cause I damaged it everytime I do it and don't want to have to buy another for now and i'm afraid it will not work very well, when i tried a glass stem in my QGC the results were not here, especially on the clouds and efficiency side but it was not a perfect fit....
I rarely power the old teflon core since the very long heating time though, is there an upgrade program available at Hermès Medical (Minivap) to upgrade my old teflon core to a QTC? Do you know the cost also, please?
Another question, with my plug in adapter, the plug (from the wall adapter) doesn't fit tight enough anymore and power the MV on/off every time I touch it, I use it with a whip to connect it to the water tool (when i use it...) to avoid to have to touch it but i would be able to handle it... do you think it's possible to get this part repaired?
Last thing, a sort of shorter battery (30-40% of the actual size) with fast charge ability would be something awesome, you take a session (or 2 at max) and put your MV back on the charging deck, 30-45 mn later it is ready again for another round.... please @stickstones spread the word to the manufacturer and did you tried my setup with your MV QGC (I bet you have a Herbalaire somewhere around...)? For me it's a game changer! Please, test it!

If you do an update, make sure to ask them about your loose plug as well...may as well do it all at once. I don't know if that's something that can be fixed or if it needs a full replacement. I've never fixed one of those. Do you have a battery for it? That would be the other way to power it up.

There is a screen in the bottom of the HA adapter but no screen on the top of the load. I use it mostly inverted with my water tools but I use it sometimes with a whip/ glass stem connected to the HA adapter. I don't have anymore a J-Hook though but it will work for sure!
The main advantage of this setup is to remove silicon from the vaporpath, I can taste the difference.
