I remember your posts in those days @tepictoton and remember how the MV was shunned due to its price. Now that more people have it, there is finally an understand of why! I really look forward to your reunion review and thoughts!

Just shot a mail to minivap store to see whats up. Will keep you updated. I am in the market for new Mini-beast(Vap), but have been watching this thread closely and hope to give you guys a positive story related to their customer service. Because I also feel the not so positive once are being represented more here, maybe even un-proportionally? I will see where this goes...I know I want this vaporizer again...

I know I want this beast once more, my solo air just is no match to it, and even when I had my Cloud, I would find myself almost exclusively using the minivap. It was a painful separation two years ago, I hope we get re-united again soon...
Whoa after all your efforts to buy it you ended up selling it?I remember those posts when you first tried it with Jorge lol.

Hi everyone, on the Minivap site, they speak about a new version of the minivap since july 2015.
They sell the update for 112 €(!).
Is there anybody who have test it?
Is it a good change?
Another question, since several months i hear a little noise (buzzzzzzz).
Do you hear the same?it does not affect the vaporisation, just a little bit annoying...

I'm planning to get the upgrade and yes, there's a sound to it when operational. A very mild bzzz. I think the upgrade will be worthy.
Glass core instead of Teflon and they say it estract a bit better.
I have mine since 3 or 4 years so I'm glad to be able.to send it in, sure that if I had it since less than a year I would be sad of having already an old unit.

Ok, i'm not sure if the glass is a good thing for me.The teflon brings a super taste and i can get big clouds if i want.
But i have to wait 8 minutes to vape on green....I'm used to, but if i have to wait only 1 or 2 minutes it will be great!!A friend of mine has just placed an order for the last version ! so i'lltest it and perhaps i'll make the update....Nevertheless my teflon version is a beast!

Haven't they had some issue's with the newer glass version's in comparison to the older teflon one's? i asked vapefiend about getting them back in stock and he said that they wouldn't be stocking them again because they have problems with so many unit's in the past, found this a pity as i really love the look of it and the fact it's so good on flavour and efficient with herb's really make's me want one as my go-to unit.

So i keep checking ebay for a pre owned teflon cored version, seen a few but only in gold which i'm not a fan of looking for one in any other colour other than that.

I'm beginning to wonder if mine is already starting to degrade..I've definately not used it that much to where it should but I've got to the point of if I want to milk it thru water that it just won't do it like it did when new..and it's only few months old and I can't stand how long it takes to heat back up to temp between draws..it's upward of a minute sometimes and then to realize that it's cached??also I'm having to pack the unit instead of the baskets which just aren't producing like old..it's like on par with my aa thru water and 5x the price..no clue..

I know @stickstones we need to..I'm so torn as to if something is wrong..to me something is wrong but it might just be my expectations..I guess it's more of a this is a expensive vape and it seems to not work like it was in the beginning..but yeah let's make it a point to try it out against yours..I know I shouldn't compare vapes but it seems that the heater on the mv get overwhelmed very easy. And my mighty or even my air doesnt..I dunno..more testing..

@subway13029 - if it is taking around a minute to get back up to temp between draws then your unit is definitely malfunctioning. My glass core unit takes 5-10 seconds to recover after a huge draw. Most draws only cause it to blink 2-3 times. Recovery time on my unit is negligible. I would get yours checked out

Ok so I'm in love with my minivan again..I've been using the glass core and i will put my best rip off it against any other vape out there..but let me also say that this vape is very inconsistent or maybe it just prefers special material..because it plays with my head that maybe the flower isn't good or this or that..It just seems I'm not always satisfied but when I get it it right or it gets right...man o man...cloud city...flavor town...

I personally hate minivan's. Always have and always will...:D

The type of herb and method of packing the basket plays a big part in cloud production from my experience. The less I pack a basket the quicker I can pull big clouds. I just lightly fill a large basket now and by the second draw I'm getting great clouds. Consistently.

If I fill a basket half or even full I still on get one good draw but still seems inconsistent..I've been packing directly in chamber and boom...

Haha...minivan....

Hey miniVAPers,
just got some new pieces from @Ratchett .
Among them, the new universal 14/18 adapter for MANY vapes.
It allows easy connection to a 14 OR 18 water piece.

It fits the mV short mouthpiece and the trial run went very well.
In fact, all this testing and I'm at my limit :)
Had already tested the new HT/bong style adapter I asked for.

It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it........
