How do I change boot screens, sound profiles, download heat profiles?
In the dashboard I can download a community boot screen, but how do I load it to the unit?...same with sound profiles. Is there any more of an in depth guide/manual?

Now to the gushing...this thing is awesome!! I am using half the functions and love it!!
Size...perfect...sauce sidecar deal...awesome...using @710Coils flat coil with d-nail sic halo nail. Do not regret getting this thing at all.
(I also have a mini-nail unit and it is now sad and never gets played with...lol)

@Skevlin in the Dashboard you need to go to the screen which lists all of your devices, if your unit is online there should be a green pencil icon which lets you edit the device settings.

Once you are on that screen you can change the per-device settings and then click the sync button to send them down to your unit. You will see the heart icon on the e-nail flash as each piece of data is received.

I got the replacement coil in the mail today. Plugged it in and saw some numbers (yay!) but then it immediately went to 'no coil' status again. I tried adjusting it in the back and found that when I pull up on the part that plugs in it's able to see the coil. Unfortunately as soon as I let go it going back to 'no coil'. I tried the same with the old coil and was able to see the number briefly but not long enough to actually stay on the screen like the new coil.

I also noticed some artifacts while scrolling quickly through the menu options. I was able to get a picture of one of them:

If this is normal then something may have came a bit loose in shipping. Maybe I could take it out of the enclosure and confirm everything is seated correctly?

Send us an email I will get you a replacement sent out, it is likely something in the XLR connector is loose.

The screen artifacts do occur occasionally and are not indicative of a broken unit.

You can certainly remove the XLR connector and try to examine the problem and / or fix it yourself but we will get you sorted out regardless.

Dang, I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. I'll email you shortly.

Despite my issues Shane and Maxvapor have been awesome in providing support. When my banger broke in shipping I emailed Shane at 6:30PM on a Friday night asking if there's anything he could do for me. Within 15 minutes he already had a tracking number for me for a replacement one :o.

@RP6 no worries man, I got the guys working late to get you an advanced replacement sent out until we can get yours back in for repair. You should receive a tracking number some time tomorrow and someone will get back with you to get your unit shipped back once you receive the replacement.

Unfortunately we are out of brushed silver units, so I hope you don't mind using the black one in the interim.

Hey guys! I’m new to the Maxvapor/710 coil setup and should be receiving my shipment sometime soon! Got my raspberry pi setup and ready to link it with home kit as well.

I had a question about “torch” mode though, I know it’s not out yet but what exactly does it entail?

I believe torch mode is reverse uptemp - basically a big heat blast and then it counts down for you as the banger cools and then it tells you to apply your materials.

I could be wrong there but I think that’s it.

Here are the new Satin Black Oxide and Satin Cardinal Red colorways.

As mentioned previously, the Brushed Aluminum finish has been phased out and all remaining units are now in the hands of happy owners.



I would also like to announce we have finished construction on our new assembly line and brought a few more pieces of equipment in-house to further streamline production and have mostly eliminated our long order queue.

Beginning May 1st all new controller orders will ship within 1-2 days of purchase.

I can't see any heat profiles in the dashboard. Is there any available or is it a future feature? Also does the auto tune actually work? It always says not enough data collected.

@Skevlin there is a bug in the dashboard where new units don't always get loaded with heat profiles. Send us an email with your dashboard username and someone can get it fixed for you.

Have you had any luck getting your nail to register on the dashboard or being able to load up profiles? My display has shown the blinking heart since last Monday and I have tried re connecting to the dashboard and even a factory reset.

Anyone know of a sure fire way to reset the device? I’ve tried holding the button down for 5 seconds as i power it on but after about 10 tries no luck.

I’m currently unable to change temps, enter uptemp mode, self clean, or do anything besides turn it on and it’ll be stuck at the last set temp.

Not yet. Got an email about a new firmware update making it's way to the units that should resolve the issue.
