EMK, one of the best 'portable' ballvapes. Works great in a wireless coil setup or by torch. Flavor's amazing!

Man, talk about value-$60 for a gorgeous, updated Dreamwood Roasty:

Indeed that's beautiful...
Is it possible to heat it aggressively without scorching ? Or is that just a session vape that builds up after successive heatings ? I'm talking about finishing a small load in 2 just heat-ups... with the Vaponic it's possible to overheat the outer tube then insert the inside stem with the material and rip it in one-two heat up. That's what I'm after but in a more handy form factor.

I personally wouldn't try it. It's a session vape. Maybe something like the terpedo could work? But it'd need a second layer to be successful, I reckon

I haven't really tried it like that but I bet the mini could be used that way, maybe even the small. The diameter of the large may make it difficult.

I think it's more of a heat-building session vape but maybe if you asked they might have a mini on hand. You'd need one of thier wooden DV stems for it.

I've got a mini. Then again, there's folks who reckon they can clear a Vapman in two or three. I'm not one of them

Thanks for your input. That's a useful comparison because I can't clear a vapman bowl in 2 cycles either.

So second layer it is ! Honestly the Vaponic does the job pretty well. it's by far the closest to a one hitter, form and function wise. Though not a handy as the roasty...

This might have been me claiming that. Important to say however that I'm doing that with the Vapman Click, by going 3-5 seconds over the clicks. I couldn't do it with an OG. So I don't claim to have any skill with Vapmans yet. I don't even have the OG yet.

I'm quite skilled at brick butane vapes however, and finish to a dark brown with 1-2 hits. But this is because I copied @coolbreeze technique I found on an old post. So I can't take responsibility for that either :D

That sounds interesting. Could you briefly summarize this technique?
I use a normal technique, swirl the torch until you hear the woosh, build heat with a slow inhale until you get heat/flavor/visible vapor and then pull faster, letting off the flame before your breath slows. My secret trick is to aim just inside the bell but not quite into the tube from a downward angle tilted slightly inward, from ~10 to 5 o'clock, like this:

I don't know why it works, but it's pretty foolproof.

Tight, single flame torch, around 1.5inch flame length. Bring inner flame to the inner lip of the intake. Aim torch centrally, but diagonally downwards at 5 o'clock. Slow draw then fast/medium fast depending on the brick vape. I do medium srong with the Nova because it has a longer intake.

You get a substantially stronger sweet spot sound This way. And riding that sweet spot with flame length and draw speed, is the key to getting massive potent hits.

People think the Nova for example is better with a 3 flame, yet I see videos of these people needing 8 hits to finish a bowl. If you do the above the Nova is an incredibly potent Vape, needing 1-2 hits, and producing room filling smokelike vapour. I might do a vid on the Nova thread when I get back from London.

Sorry to @coolbreeze If I butchered any of this or forgot anything.

Thank you so much guys, really appreciate it. That sounds awesome and I’ll definitely give that a try. I wonder if this technique also works with the Sticky Brick vapes.

Works me me amazingly well with SB Runt. I do a faster draw once vapour builds, as it has a short intake. Best to have the bowl half filled, after the tamp. I clear the bowl to dark brown in a hit this way, even with restrictor disc. I actually prefer it with the disc using this technique.

I’m doing this as well and done after 3 heat ups. Not surprising with a more aggressive style :p Thing can get pretty hot on bowl 3 though.

Saw a tip long ago to do this but also circle the flame around the inside of the bell. This has worked fairly well for me vs the fixed position. Need to re-visit & use these more in the rotation!

If you do a hot reload with the Click, the next bowl can be extracted in 2 cycles by going over the click. I was sat in my hotel garden last night chaining bowls together. Just filling the bowl 75%. It gets really efficient doing that. 6 seconds worth of butane to fully extract 0.15g is lovely.

I keep feeling like I'm being sacrilegious by talking about Vapmans this way. It's not very Zen! Just trying to get blasted.

I'm getting more and more tempted by the Roasty, great value for the price. I'm wondering how are people loading this device? Any issues with bits coming back through as you toke on it?

I'm guessing that the way you load it will have an impact on the airflow?

It does have an impact, but with a modified MTL hit it's insignificant. I usually break off a little piece to use as a screen, and then suck ground flower in after, same as with any screenless vape. A light tamp keeps things in place and you're good to go. I've never really thought of it as having a tight draw.

Anyhow, hope you enjoy it. It's another amazing vape from the genius behind Triihouse (based on the Ubie, maybe?).

I'll probably get one eventually, but there's no rush. There aren't any gaps in my collection these days so it's all just VAS 🤣
