Yep, the ID of the 1/2” nipple is 0.65in / 16.68mm.

I’d stick with clear glass. Frosted halogen lamps run a bit hotter. Might work out though. Don’t really know. I’m using a Satco S1924

Lower wattage should work fine. Just a bit slower. 75W may be the sweet spot.

Vapgirl: Vapman! The village is overrun with weed eating squirrels!!!

Vapman: Yea yea that’s cool, have you seen my new LBV?

Vapgirl: No, break that bamma out.

*two hours pass, still on couch*

Butler Chong: Sir, the squirrels have eaten all the weed in the village and are headed this way. Man...

Vapman: Perfect, my weed is in a squirrel proof electrified safe.

*Sound of squirrels being zapped in background*

Vapman: Problem solved, and lunch is ready.

This looks amazing, watching with interest! I think the world is craving a no-nonsense, powerful and durable vape for under $50, and this could be the ticket. Who needs the digital controls and other frills, when a vape just hits well out of the box? Not me. I'm all for the minimalist design, less is more. I can see myself buying 2 or 3 of these, to have them in different rooms of the house etc.

Thanks for your work putting this together, I look forward to trying it one day!
