Does anyones LSV cord sort of twist and bend, I know I posted pictures a while back of mine sort of bent a couple inches down and so on, doesnt seem like a big deal but its a b every time I pass the cord I have to get up and move it so its not in some crazy ass position. It seems to be bent a couple ways.

As you can see I have to get up and move the cord back everytime I want to set it on the couch.

I'm not quite seeing what your issue with it is..

When you first get it, it comes coiled up so it's going to retain some of that. Generally you should be able to manipulate it as you like. I have mine sat on a table with the cord hanging down the front, going past the side and through the back of the desk into a power point. I've had to move it around to different places with no problems reeling it back up.

I need more evidence of this cord!! Yours is really straight, have you thought about an extension cord and/or power strip, or possibly rearranging the furniture? I don't see what the problem is, but I do have one kick ass solution. If you started with pic 3, then pic 2, then pic 1, along with your other pics in their order, you would have a kick ass LSV cord flip book...

Your cord looks like the cord on both of mine.
I see no issue.

Maybe it is just my OCD, thanks guys for the reassurance. I'm not good at explaining this via text but I can try again. If I'm looking straight at the heater cover from my eye the cord is twisted a whole different way about 4 inches down from the strain relief. If I would pick it up from the bag and move the LSV a few feet to my bed or chair, I have to readjust the cord as I put it back in the bag. I believe that is the reason its bent. If you look in the third picture it shows it the best, I know it just looks like its just "bent" but it is actually spun that way so if I would turn the LSV 360 degrees and lay it in bag, it would go the opposite way of that bend. I don't know if that made sense but I'll proofread when I'm less medicated, once again I'm probably just being paranoid about it.

I'm just worried about all the people that say its going to short out.

SSVUN, I'm not sure how to reply to you too in this post but I have it plugged into a power strip, its actually plugged in to the right of the chair so it looks like a giant U. If you guys say its not a big deal then I won't worry, its just a pain in the BUTT to get up and move it back with my foot or hand everytime I want to put it back on the couch, or else its bunched up and bends even worse.

That's the lsv, you get a cord to mess with instead of a whip like the ssv/dbv.
Pretty much every plug-in vape falls into one of these two categories.
So you choose your "poison", and live with it (or not)!

Not really. You can just put the LSV in a permanent place just like you would the SSV. Then the cord would not be an issue for either.

The difference is the LSV is more portable and as such can used with a whip or with any water attachment. I see this as a plus for the LSV.

A cloud is a similar form factor as the lsv that can sit still,
but an lsv would need to be accessorized to do so.

To leave the lsv on requires one to find a stand of some sort to prevent overheating,
while the ssv can be left on indefinitely right out of the box.

I'm considering the LSV very seriously for my first vape. Smell is a big concern for me. I want to be able to use it in my living room & not have the smell leak out the front door. There's a kitchen & dining area in between the living area & door. I know there are other factors involved than just the vaporizer itself, but some obviously produce more odor than others. Opinions on the LSV for the smell factor?

It depends, mostly just the bud smells when you break it down and when you pack it. Sometimes the hit will smell and sometimes it won't usually it doesn't smell like marijuana but sometimes it does. I've had huge clouds that didn't resemble marijuana at all and I've had tiny clouds that has stunk up my whole room. When I first got this thing I stunk up my room pretty bad but ever since it's only happened a few times. Mainly when I pack bigger bowls/others use my vape it smells. The vapor dissipates quickly which is a plus. I have a air purifier and a fan going usually so that helps, if I think my session is going to stink I light a candle or spray something. I don't think I've smelt anything when I hit it through water, I could be wrong though.

I know that I've mentioned this on that other thread but I'll do it here as well. I've been using my LSV for over a year now in an older apartment. I live right next door to the manager. Walls are paper thin. I can hear them talking. I know them and they know that I use a vape. I asked them if they ever smelled anything. They said "Absolutely not".

It really comes into it's own when mated to a water pipe filled with very warm water..............smooooooth.

Have you guys experience any temperature change over time? Same temp is getting my bowls spent a lot faster.

One, is that the heating rod has pulled out a bit more than it was before, or two, being that the LSV really reacts to outlet voltage, your outlet may either be putting out more voltage than it was before or you possibly switched outlets from what you were using before.

I had never observed the whole outlet issue before, so I was skeptical. Till last week when I plugged my LSV into a more convenient plug just 3 ft away from where it was and noticed an immediate difference. Before, I would combust at 3 oclock. Now I can turn it all the way up and never combust. Noticeable decrease in power from one plug to another.

Same plug, heating element isn't moved unless it moved by itself. Not sure what it could be..

Help. Just got my water pipe yesterday for lsv. And I have seen tha light yes indeed . But I cannot get the white milky rips anymore. Yesterday and this morning all milky then the milk just stopped. Read something about the heater element moving or cover ? Idk. Help

@Jacolb I've found when using the WPA I usually have to run the LSV a tad bit hotter to get the kind of vapor I'm looking for. That and make sure your herb is ground finely and not packed super tight.

I have been enjoying my LSV with the glass heater cover installed again. I am using a DIY 18mm glass roasting tube that is using Fluidization for effective and tasty extraction. Most of the time I use it with a silicone whip connected to the top of the mouthpiece tube. It is sort of like using a hookah when it is resting in the stand. Just pass the whip around the table for parties. I have been using my Kill-o-Watt meter as the heat indicator since the voltage can vary with the outlet or extension cord. I just watch the meter as I adjust the knob. I like how the LSV physically retains the glass heater cover with the aluminum cap so that it is easy to remove a stuck tube without removing the hot heater cover with it.
The approved power cord strain relief is another thing that I really like about the LSV. I take comfort knowing it won't create a shock hazard especially with the grounded plug.
The LSV is a solid performer. It is the only vaporizer I have that could be used to defend yourself (as a club) and still use it afterward.
