I do not, but I assure you it works quite well! Even more so when I set the little pinnacle wt down and buck up the big vxh hydracirc! I just love the life saber paired with a hydratube!

I was looking at the LSV and the Pinnacle but also the Space Vape. Probably no warranty to speak of but it looks like a very good value that is 14mm GG compatible so it should work with the hydrotube. Evidently it has forced air as well... I think it has a glass combustion chamber like the LSV, no metal cartridges like the Pinnacle which I find to be a con.

I had a pinnacle and sold it to get my lsv. Decent portable but I needed a hard hitting home unit.

Thanks, that answers a lot. I have recently tried the PAX and it just isn't the same as what I can get from my SSV. I guess even the Pinnacle;) of portable units still doesn't compare to a good plug-in unit.

the space vape is bags only like the volcano so it won't work with a gong

Yes I was just noticing that the Space Vape is forced air but there is another version of it called the Vapure Genie that looks to be whip style. Don't know yet if it offers forced air as well but it could be a good option for home use with a HT.

the LSV is the only one of those that will compare to the SSV the pinnacle doesn't get hot enough to get the high temp actives. The solo is probably your best bet fora portable that can compare to some plug in units but 7th floor products are heavy hitters

What about the Puffit? I kind of like the "medical device" look :ninja:

Could you make one? Very interested over here.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
Your LSV is your friend. Take it everywhere. ;)

I love that pic Bill, you look like a true Disney Princess. I'm not sure if that's what the manufacturer had in mind when they made that pool but you're certainly rockin it with style.

The way I was taught was

Get a portable to be portable.

Get a home device for when your at home.

That advice has yet to fail me.

Very good advice, proving to be true again and again!

I'm getting the hang of the PAX but am not getting anywhere near the "official yeild". Coming from SSV land it's easy to see why, three decent doses on high and it's cashed

I used to have a LSV and the smoothest hit I got was with a glycerine coil: http://lifesabervaporizer.com/lsv-glass/vapor-cooling/glycerin-cooling.html

I only kept the coil for about a month because it's kind of a hassle to keep refreezing it (stays cold for ~20 min max). It's a pain in the ass to clean since you're not supposed to use water hotter than ~90F. If it isn't completely dry before freezing it'll clog up. It will also clog after regular use from condensing vapor. That said, glycerine coils do exceptionally well at cooling vapor.

Another option is a bong with ice. Something like this would work great: http://ssfgglass.com/shop/product.php?id_product=66. There are cheaper options (look for glass stores' own brands) but I forget what they are at the moment.

Ice cubes are a simple option, but I always hate having the melting ice change the water level.

These stainless steel ice cubes are reusable and easy to clean.

Heres how you use them:
  • pull cubes out of freezer
  • turn glass piece sideways
  • slide metal cubes in sideways SLOWLY so not to break the glass pinches
  • make sure they cubes make contact with ice pinches
  • slowly stand the glass up
  • fill to desired water level

I've been lurking all over this thread recently and you guys are seriously making me want to pick one of these up...!
I recently had a run in with law enforcement which resulted in me losing my PAX, but I think it may have been a good excuse for me to expand my vape collection. How would you say this vape is for a group of 2-4 people? Thanks in advance everyone!

Sorry to hear about your pax but hopefully that's the only negative that came out if that incident. it really depends on everyone's tolerance but it is going to be better than most for multiple people. plus there is the fatty chamber that you can add but I don't really find it necessary ever, just like I feel the regular WPA (instead of the shorty) isn't really necessary, also repacking is relatively easy. I would say that this is actually better for a group than it is for someone alone but I still make it work for just me. the LSV probably has a better capacity than most and definitely more if you add the bigger attachments

That sounds like it is right up my alley! As far as using it only as a vape without a WPA how does it perform? Ive read a lot of mixed things over this 126 page thread. A lot of people saying it should only be used with a water pipe others saying it is an amazing vape just by itself. Any thoughts on that?

I used it dry for several weeks when I first got it as I only had a small bubbler and an old soft glass bong and I loved it, sometimes I still break out the transfer wand fora change of pace. I think it works very well that way. even dry it can give huge bong like rips. those huge hits can cause irritation though so I can see why some will only use it with a water pipe. it can be pretty easy it overdo a hit when dry which can cause many to hack their lungs out. I came from a solo with an even shorter stem so the hot vapor from the transfer wand never really bothered me

Okay awesome. Now I just wait for this 3 month T-Break (which is being forced upon me) to be up and I will be ordering my first LSV it sounds like. I cant tell you how painful it is to just read every thread here over and over and not be able to order anything... It's terrible! :(

Well I pulled the trigger on one of these, along with a small Pinnacle HT. After flirting with the non-existent (ordered but back-ordered forever and canceled) VaporVape(ware), I suppose I'm a copycat after all :\

Thanks for the inspiration V&C, that was an awesome pic and my wallet is much thinner now!

I also have a short Six Shooter downstem coming for my bong, which will be sanitized and banned from combustion forever to mate with the 14mm short WP adapter :D
I can't wait to try this puppy out:popcorn:

I use a low pro 18m to 14f adapter, I place it under the cap on the lifesaber and turn the cap on about 2 threads. This stiffens up the airway so the wt doesn't wobble around. Then i pop a 14m to 14m adapter with a screen in the maria in then my pn tube on top. Makes it feel much more rigid and stable. I wish I'd have known you were looking for this setup, I've been pondering selling mine and the lsv is just over a week old. Coulda saved ya some bucks. Oh we'll, you will love the combo! Heavy hitter!!

Dang, too late now, that was good advert though

Thanks for posting about the adapters. I'm having a hard time visualizing how this attaches now, I didn't realize I would have to buy even MORE CRAP to make this work

I think that I found the first adapter that you mentioned,

Is this the second one? edit: No it can't be...

How does it (does it even) work without the adapters, would I hate it?

Also why are you selling yours?
