Hello,

The leather products I offer are handmade by me.

As with everything, there is a wide range of leather qualities, manufacturing methods (vegetable or mineral tanning) and origins.

I pay particular attention to the quality of the leather I work with, which is deliberately of French or European origin, mainly cowhide, vegetable-tanned (non-chemical), undyed, and from French tanneries.
As it's important to cite one's sources, here's mine:
The vast majority of the leather I use comes from the french Chapat tannery in Haute-Loire, a family-run, artisanal business renowned for its expertise.

Happy christmas, and more...

Hey,

I'm glad to introduce you a new section on my website : the "Marbling" section where you'll find all my creations using the marbling dye technique, inspired by the SUMINAGASHI, a Japanese decorative art dating back to the 12th century.

The idea of marbling is to make colors float on the surface of water (thanks to additives), then transpose them onto leather by depositing it on the surface: the colored patterns created on the water will cling to the leather. The leather is then varnished to fix the colors and protect it :

Thank you for your support

Just ordered one of your marbled decapper. Cheers!

Should come really handy with TA4 and it's screwable top. Think it will be much better away from magnets...
