My only gripe about the jyarz classics is I wish they were a little bit taller so could comfortably hold a rolled joint with tip. I know it's blasphemy around here but I like to smoke a sativa joint every now and then!
I picked up three JyARz from a local retailer and am seriously impressed by these little things. While waiting for these to be delivered, I read much of this thread and now feel great about supporting such a wonderful small business.
I've just placed a direct order for three more classics, a Chico and a Satchmo.
Thanks Aldo for making such great products. I wish you every success.
Here is a Jyarz, spotted on the Islas Cies in Gallicia....hope this helps making your day a bit more sunshiny
I've had my JyARz for a few days now, and I must say, I love these things! They exceeded my expectations, and my expectations were set pretty high after reading this thread. These things feel so durable and the pictures online can't convey the sense of quality these little things exhude. I love watching the glass inserts slide into the plastic body on my Classics. And the Satchmo really holds more than I had imagined based off the pictures. Thanks for making such awesome containers, Aldo! I foresee myself purchasing at least one more Satchmo, and possibly another Classic or perhaps a Chico in the future.
Perfect! Sounds like you probably deserve a good vacation.I'm in Reno and heading to Lake Powell for vacation.
Thanks for the kindness, I hope all is as well in your of the world as it is in mine!

Hey, forgot to post here a few weeks back, but I ordered some Jyarz, (1 Satchmo, 1 Classic, 2 Chicos.)
Waited a week, they didn't show up, I asked them for some shipping info and they were certain to send to me quickly, with extra goodies to boot for the delay!
So I ended up with 1 Satchmo, 3 Classics, and 2 Chicos. Top notch, quality customer sevice!
Goodie chest. I put separate strains in the satchmos. Some quality nugs in the classics to sit on. I pregrind and fill the Chicos/Mighty Aid, and concentrates in the concentrate containers!
I'm sitting pretty with 8 satchmos, 2 classics, and 1 chico. While I can't justify any more purchases for myself I do have some orders lined up for gifts this year
In my collection resides, 4 Classics, 1 Chico, 1 Custom Etched Classic and 1 Custom Etched Satchmo.
Did the recently massdropped classics have this or not?Hello FC Friends,
It is was some satisfaction that I'm announcing our JyARz Classic Upgrade kit. For those people with very sensitive olfactory systems this kit includes two of our new smell free silicone gaskets along with one new shock absorber. For details please see:
http://www.jyarz.com/products/jyarz-classic-upgrade-kit
I'm very confident that even the most sensitive of you will be happy with this material. For those of you have have purchased our Satchmo contains with the white gaskets it's that same material adapted to work in the Classic. Note that this kit also comes with a new shock absorber which is more shock absorbent than the gasket style shock absorbers that we used previously.
So for short money ($6) you can improve and extend the life of your Classic JyAR.
Have a good day everybody!

Did the recently massdropped classics have this or not?
How does one tell the difference? Sorry but I'm new to these.
Looks nice Aldo!
I'll definitely be adding a gasket kit to my next order, I just noticed earlier this week one of my classic bottom gaskets had deteriorated from wear This classic Jyarz has seen a lot of material!
Sorry to be a pain, but that doesn't help me tell whether or not mine are in the new style.I can't categorically say that they all had the new gaskets but the vast majority did. There are still a few old style gaskets sprinkled through our inventory but not many are left.
Sorry to be a pain, but that doesn't help me tell whether or not mine are in the new style.
So again, how does one tell the difference between the old and new styles?
