Me and my bros all made a largish order. 12 jyarz in route, my largest order yet. I know they will be happy and more jyarz for me is never a bad thing lol. I like being able to have many different classics, vs a few of the larger ones so I can have a tenth or eighth and many different varieties

Hi @JyARz,
Maybe an odd question, but have you ever considered offering glass inserts for the classic size that are half the height of the regular ones? That way you could stack the inserts within a jyar and carry two different materials in one container while keeping them separate. Just seems like a relatively easy way to offer a little flexibility to what's already an awesome product!

You would need to put a gasket or something between them I would think. Glass on glass like that would be prone to chipping or cracking. Or... hey here's an idea. Tops on both ends with a gasket in the middle and the glass inserts both pointing to the outside. There ya go.

Gaskets occurred to me, but I thought you could get by without. A gasket or an o ring would completely eliminate any worry of breakage though, so definitely not a bad idea. Tops on both ends is an interesting idea but then you gotta mold entirely new pieces versus just ordering some shorter inserts.

You are right, of course, and as a way to use what already exists, half size glass and a protector of some kind would make it useable nearly immediately (after getting inserts made). But I am thinking more long term as a new product, as I think your idea has merit. In legal states especially where many strains are available I can think of many reasons why you might want a (roughly) classic sized container that's a twofer, even without considering any of it's myriad non-MJ uses. And it would be fairly easy to do that and make both containers accessible without having to remove one or be (extra) concerned with breakage. And it wouldn't even take much design work as it would be pretty much cut and flip and your done. You might even add an inch if you wanted.
In actual fact I'm sure Aldo's next Jyar will be a bigger one as thats what folks are clamoring for, but I think Jyarz has a big future and time will lead to more stuff. He cares about his product and his customer AND the earth. That sounds like success to me.

If they're both oriented the same direction I don't see it being a problem. Just kinda pinch em against the side and slide em out. A gasket between would make this a little harder, so an o-ring might work better.
I got a response from my injection molding provider and it looks like obtaining "color switch" shots will be possible. I'll keep you all up to date on when they are available. ..Thanks for the idea...I think they'll look pretty cool.

In rereading my posts above about the "Twofer" version of the classic I wanted to be sure I didn't give the impression that I thought redesigning this would be trivial. Nothing involving creating injection molds is trivial and I understand that. I was only suggesting that the caps and the threads and the tube designed for the classic already exist, and those parts of the "twofer" won't need much additional design work. Choosing the tube length, removing the bottom and reversing the thread and cap for the other side still need the mechanical drawings and of course the mold making. You might also want to add some little detentes to help hold the gasket in place. But it would be much simpler than starting from scratch.
Even IF Aldo wanted to do this I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. But, it certainly COULD be done and it's not a bad idea.

After thinking USPS lost my precious package, it mysteriously arrived! Super stoked to finally be able to get rid of the pill containers forever(My Jyarz will come with me when I reload in which it will be a straight deliver). I put them to use very quickly and am very pleased with them.
I am set now, storage/to-go container for each strain. I'm not too keen on the names and what not but choose mine by the most potent smell...hence the desire for these. So far so good, they are holding all the smell safetly.
Excellent product and excellent company...added the ocean conservation aspect. Straight win win!
I will be definetly looking out for new products they introduce...

I just had an idea for a jar, What about making a jar twice the length, with lids on the top and bottom, a gasket would be in the middle, and each glass insert would have its own lid.
