Dang y'all! Seems like an unusual streak of broken inserts, at least I have not seen so many as long as I have been following the thread...

You mention you blame yourself, what did you do to break this one?

I don't think I have taken my insert out more than once, right when I got it.

Dropped it down some concrete stairs while running with it in my hands. Took some real bounces and I honestly expected worse..

Trust me, I'm pretty rough with these things.. They have really outlived my expectations and this was pretty much destined to break with how hard it was hitting the concrete stairs..

My condolences to you, however... I got 5 glass inserts for less than $10.. Now that is straight up fucking awesome. The cheap cost of the inserts makes this a worthy investment :) I also can't imagine the functionality or physical condition of the plastic case lessening over time. It sounds like they can take a beating but I am going to be very precious with mine, as with most things vape related I take great pride in them

I wish I knew why mine was cracked. I honestly think it happened in shipping because I never dropped mine. I only noticed it when I took out the glass insert to replace the gaskets.

I have a replacement insert tucked away, also, as I had broken one of mine (my fault)... so, when I ordered my Chico, I also got a replacement & spare.

I catch myself taping the edge with things, and then I cringe...

I had to order 3 new glass inserts to replace 3 broken ones and I regret not buying a couple extra to save on shipping. I have a bunch of jyarz so I am ok if another one breaks. Still, I would rather be prepared ;)

Candidly, we are seeing this from time-to-time so I'm starting to think maybe there's glass going out with micro-cracks that develop into full blown cracks over time. So while I hate to say it, it might actually be a product flaw. If anyone else has this happen please let me know before you buy more glass so we have a chance to make it right.

I haven't posted them yet. They are so damn tough I was hoping that it would be a while before I needed to post them...wishful thinking on my part? I'll get them up tomorrow if someone wants to buy them. I should note that we don't have separate caps the way we do for the Classic inserts.

Mine was most definitely NOT MY FAULT! It was my 2 year old's fault for throwing my Jyarz and breaking the 3 glass cores inside of them. If you still feel an urge to send me free stuff I won't stop you. :cool:

Just to balance the last few posts. I think its hard to put the glass insert in a situation where it gets broken. Im down 3-4 solo stems lifetime. But 0 jyarz glass insert.

I was at my parent's house for the last 2 days, and was very excited for my JyARz to arrive while I was gone but I'm home and no JyARz yet :( I am very excited for them! I think I got one of each colour which is going to look amazing!

When they go tumbling as hard as mine did, I think I was lucky only to have a crack.. But I agree with you, these things are hard to break!

I'd have to charge a lot more for JyARz if we offered a "my 2 year broke" it warranty! I have kids of my own I know how it goes.

That might not be a bad idea @JyARz

Perhaps you can sell a separate "no questions asked warranty" for people who may have to endure harsher conditions in their daily travels?

My Jyarz live in a Pelican case so I think I'm good tho. :lol:
