I have all the colors, but definitely need duplicates! Especially of Satchmo's... I like to keep all of one strain in the same color. Sure you can try to squeeze a Z into one Satchmo, but 3-4 of the same color are better suited for larger jobs.

As much as I love my satchmos and classics these chicos with the powdery insert has really pissed me off.
I've not used them for ages got some really nice lemon walker which I haven't had before and I'm in the UK so probably gonna be a while when/if it pops up again and now the top buds have got the white powder on them....
I did post the problem in this when someone else did.
Just a moan I suppose I'm still a fan and recently bought more. Should have bought some more inserts but I'd hazard a guess being in the UK spares aren't that easy to get.

Was it an outside contaminant perhaps?
If you just washed your inserts, I imagine they are okay and not the inserts deteriorating to powder... must be something else powdering your Jyarz.
Had they ever been used before?

Can someone please give me the outside diameter of the base of the satchmo and the chico please? I've found the dimensions of the height and cap but not the base

First I’m very sorry if this is a failure of my product. We use very high quality materials but errors do happen. I ask that you remove the gasket and wash it with warm soapy water. Any residue from manufacturing should just wipe off immediately. Again, I am very sorry if this was our failing.

Just another thought regarding contaminates, are you receiving medical/legal product? Might there be ANY chance that you might have, at one time or another, had some moist and moldy product in that Jyarz?

I have also had "talc" like powder on new jyarzs units, and when contacting Vapefiend, all they told me was that this sometimes happens, and that they needed to be washed with iso.
Not quite the answer or extra work for me that I was expecting, but I have not had any problems with them ever since... although I do not like how easily small bits of botanicals can stick to the top of the cap.

There was one short run a few years ago that had the talc issue but no longer that is a thing of the past.
As for sticking it’s very clean pure silicone we use so it shouldn’t be a problem but if it becomes one (over time) just clean with water. In any case none of this should take more than a minute - very quick.

Yes. I wash anything that comes in contact with MJ the first time I use it. Whether its a jyarz or a grinder. I always clean the stems/whips/accessories for my vaporizers and do a burn off as well.
Seems like a reasonable "best practice" (as they say in the corporate world) to me. And I'd eat off the floor where JYARZ are assembled.

I want to buy a couple of classics, but the colors I want are out of stock. Is a restock expected soon?
We are shifting to the New Classic which comes in a few “base” colors, Indigo Blue, Grey and White (for now). We offer colored and custom printed silicone sleeves for the New Classic if you aim to customize the look.
