Well I took a little breather and tried again. (I really want this piece to work because it's a quality stem!) This time I fired it up on orange. It took some elbow grease but I got it in. After a session it seems to fit a little better now. Still real tight but I can live with it because it performs like a CHAMP!
One thing I must say is this stem maintains heat PERFECTLY. The blue light never blinks once, no matter how hard I hit it. I couldn't believe it! Oh and it hits like a cannon!!! I don't care if it's stretching my gasket out because this stem is all I'm gonna use! I might order a smaller one for travel.

Nice! It'll fit better and better over time. My air is probably a bit looser than most as I stick about 500 stems in it a month on top of my daily use. How do you like the airflow? The notches seem to be key! Goes from a thick milkshake to a soda pop through a straw.

My Air is pretty new. I had to twist a little and push pretty good, but all of them fit, even cold. I didn't think to mention it as I thought I had heard much earlier in this thread that a stem that fits the Solo is gonna be sorta tight in the Air. (or did I read that wrong).
Anyway, they work great and I'm extremely happy with them. Using this as an excuse to relink my pic from JoDa's thread:

The torch is a beast. For reference that flame is about 2ft long by 3 1/2"-4" wide at 3400-3800 degrees Fahrenheit. It melts quick fast and in a hurry!

I'm working on it. Its more of a man cave/ glass studio now than a garage. After the roof collapsed on part of it a couple months ago I've redone just about everything. The wall you see is about to be primed and a giant uv reactive graffiti mural is being done on it. I love my shop. It's my own personal heaven. I have a whole corner of it dedicated as a giant vape station.
