Looking good..any ideas on the piece for the lotus? I don't mind the wait...even though it's killing me..lol..I wanna step up for the collaboration piece but now feel I would step on toes..

I stepped up in disbelief that nobody else had, and was willing to help even if the bankbook was/is screaming and not in the immediate market for a new piece. Someone has to enjoy this creation, and the collab team is surely deserving of its financial return and acknowledgement.
There would/will be NO hurt feelings what-so-ever on my end towards someone who truly wants the opportunity at ownership as I'm already pleased to have my own custom JoDa collection to enjoy

I've got a space ufo theme self standing 14mm female J hook coming that will be used with the lotus
I can't wait either!I know Joda likes taking his time on these larger items, especially if fully worked, so I just try to forget that I ordered anything lol. I don't mind the wait. I've seen what comes from waiting patiently and it is absolutely worth it!

I said the Lotus looks like a UFO, let's make it UFO themed. Didn't show Joda any pics or idea or anything. Joda said I already have some sweet ideas for the UFO theme so I didn't give any suggestions after that.

Hey joda, have you thought about doing group buys for various pieces? I still want a carbed nano gong lol.
Maybe take a poll for what piece(s) people want. Have preset design (1-3) choices and once the target # of buyers is met, collect money and go from there? Sort of like how massdrop works.

@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd feel free to move my concentrate jar and custom mouthpiece to the end of the list if you want. I know my jar is going to be a lot of work so if you wanted to push it off till you get back into customs that's cool too, or cancel all together if it's too much right now.
Whatever helps, I'd rather you do the jar and stuff when you actually enjoy doing it instead of it feeling like an obligation to you. I've also got a grip of your work already, so feel free to get all the other orders out first if it makes any difference.
Glass should last a lifetime, so an extra couple months means nothing to me in the long run

I'm so excited as I've stated many times for my new pieces to be done and shipped out but I'd never rush it. Joda is usually pretty clear about how much work he's got going on and part of the deal is you've gotta wait on it. I placed my last order at the end of March (though now that he's backing out of the customs game a bunch I'm hitting myself for not ordering more), but Joda's an honest dude and I've been very pleased with my past orders and clearly from this board most are. Just keep doing great work on your time line.

My Airs battery died in the middle of a session yesterday. I though "f it, I'll use the stem as a one hitter."
GAG. Never again. Then I went home, turned my Enano to 10, took the puppy out for a walk, got distracted by a cute neighbor and he dog, went back in, loaded up the gong and forgot it was at 10 and prompty combust. Ugh.

LMAO, i have done this a few times... I think its cool, even when the battery is dead, worse case scenario you can still get your "meds".
Now i definitely have to wash the stem very well afterwards, the resin/residue left in the stem destroys the flavor. But i had no problems using the Air stem as a chillum.
I had another idea for now though... Im going to use a silicone tube to connect my Arizer EQ directly into the carb on the combustion bowl posted above. Then i can set the fan to 2 or 3 and have it pumping in vapor while i combust in the bowl... Clearing it will likely be a pain... But i will get vapor and combustion at the same time.

Sounds like an interesting experiment, but why? Just do dabs! Best of both worlds at same time, and don't get all the crap from combusting the whole nug!

No access to dabs/oils/shatter etc... I wish. But i even have to make due with much less than the best herb.. Not in a MJ friendly state right now, and i have kids... Miss growing my own, but wont take them chances anymore...
Otherwise id likely be too high to even think this crap up
I get better effects "higher" when vaping than when combusting... But im kind of stuck in my ways... I prefer the ritual and even the taste (most times/sometimes) of combusting.
SO i normally combust a small bowl or 2 while waiting for the EQ or AA to heat up, then vape a bowl... And repeat this pattern throughout the day...
But if i could get both happening at the same time... Awesomeness.
We also have quite a few get togethers, and have friends and family over all the time... Most are not as interested in vaping... But everyone enjoys trying new things... If nothing else... this will be fun for parties.
Imagine your taking a huge rip (combusting) then clearing it just rushes a ton of vapor into your lungs... Sounds like fun from here

Also do the smoke up and maintain with vapor (mflb nice for this when you're out where you can't normally vape freely), so get what you're saying on that, too. Still not sure about mixing on the same hit. Seems a bit wasteful to me, and I usually try to squeeze all I can out. Anxious to hear how this mad scientist experiment works out.

I have made rosin, but the bud i get right now really doesnt have much to offer, so i dont get much return, i did get a little better return with kief though... I got enough for a couple nice hits anyways, and that tasted great. But i feel i could of got more (more sessions) from the kief itself.
Also have tried a few runs of qwiso avb, the taste... not wonderful LOL I actually havent found anything i like to do with avb, i dont care for edibles, and dont care for the taste of qwiso on avb either.. SO i just try and squeeze everything i can out of it when vaping.

Soooo twice today I've encountered a spot on here where some of you guys are asking other artists to knock my style nano gongs off (you know, the ones that before me nobody else had the time to make until I proved there was a market) (not trying to sound arrogant but it's goddamned true) so while I was going to continue customs for members here once I got a rhythm on this production gig (also stems and gongs btw) I believe I'll shift my skills somewhere where blatantly biting another artists work isn't so widely accepted. Gotta hurry up and make my money before I get bumped off. Smmfh.

I'm not gonna punish the many over the few. I just don't think I'm going to push much around here anymore. To the loyalists, you have my contact info. If someone wants an all clear piece that Andy already makes then that's where I send them. I don't do plain Jane buckets either I try to make mine unlike any others so they stand out from the pack. I don't care if someone makes buckets or drops or j-hooks or any of that shit they aren't mine. But the carb gong, that one is most definitely my design. Also I innovated and progressed the current available pieces. Not just stole a design. Before me, no worked stems or gongs, before me no carbs on gongs. There's an unwritten code amongst glass blowers and I wish some of these guys went by it anymore. Oh well , fuck it, money money money money money money!

My point is someone wants to copy my "claim to fame piece" and that's fucked.! It's one thing to ask China to make a cheap alternative to a piece but to ask another American glassblower to bite another's design and then compete with said blower in the same market same forum same price range. That shits despicable. I'll bow the fuck out and leave FC in my rear view before I'll compete on a piece that I created.
