Ok, when I came home I saw a familiar box with yellow tape on the porch. Thinking my China glass is here, I was happy. When I saw the return address, I was ecstatic. My Joda package has arrived. Sent on Friday. Super quick shipping. On to the contents...
I'm speechless. Everything packed with love and care. Meeting AND exceeding my expectations. My silly, broken little recycler ash catcher is now a Hamm-esque recycling bubbler. It works great with my Errlectric! The taste of my goodies is really shining through.
I will post up some more pics in a little while. The repairs (pendant and dish) are spot-on. The replacement Dabber is perfect and very much appreciated. The Drop-down and Female adaptor are also both exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately I will not be able to use the DD because my FC-187 got took a dive. Replacement is on the way though from dhGate.

Joda, it blows my mind that you've only been doing this for 10 months and you're already producing such a high level of work, and it's exponentially more impressive that you've done so completely on your own. If you've managed to get this far alone, I can only imagine where you'll be after some time working with and learning from other professionals. And especially seeing your enthusiasm and humility in the face of more experienced artists, I am incredibly excited to see what happens next and where you take your art.

Given all that, and in line with what I said earlier about how art, even commissioned art, should always be first and foremost about the process, I'd like to volunteer my current order with you to be a canvas for new ideas, if you're in need of one. You know essentially what I want for my order and I'd still like something close but, rather than exactly what I've described, I'd rather you try out a new technique you're excited about or do something unique and creative. I don't know if you're in need of such an opportunity, but I'd hate for you to be so weighed down with custom orders that you don't feel like you have time to play and experiment as you're learning all these new things. So this way, if you need it, you can try something new while still being productive and making cash moneys. :tup:

Also I'd understand if this delays the timeframe of my order a bit, and if so no worries! Good things are worth the wait...

Are you going to attempt one with a Carb hole? Don't forget to mention that, :)

I'm still a Cloud Buddy/Claisen type of guy cause I like reclaiming the oil from the glass and use an additional screen.

Would love to see a Nano GonG/Claisen type combo, maybe something using a 10mm GonG for the claisen side so it is smaller and lighter.

I tried the DD on my broken piece for fit and it is gonna be perfect. 2 FC-187 (lefty and righty on the way). The other adaptor works great. Now I just need a 3rd hand to dab, cap, and carb.
I am sooo hooked on the the little Hammish Bubbler. It really works great and preserves flavor. :tup:

I'm probably going to end up throwing out my Bake Bros bucket and CFAB knock off ofz cap :rip::shit:

Do you think the dabber will have to be coming off the side or do you think there is room on the top? Trying to picture what it may look like.

Or even better. Do you think you could rig something up so that the cap is on a hinge like the Quartz arm is? So you just swing on the ofz cap. If that's possible I'll pay whatever extra it costs. Forget about the dabber on the cap lol. If I can dab with a normal dabber then just flip on the cap that would be amazing IMO.

Or even better better lol; I know this Edward Scissor Hands design was kind of a joke earlier in the thread but I'd be willing to be the test dummy to make the bucket have the Quartz swing on the back like normal, a swing in dabber on one side, and a swing on ofz style carb cap on the other side.

The dabber would have to be the perfect length so that it can swing in until it hits the button of the Quartz cup. May be tricky but I'll pay more for all this of course :D

And the ofz cap would need 2 notches in it instead of one.

If this needs to go to PM @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd just let me know because I would really like to make this happen if possible.

Yeah I thought that may be the case. It would be damn tricky getting everything to swing in and fit right.

Whenever you have some free time (haha basically never for you from what it seems like) and can attempt it, I'd definitely be first in line to pick up the Edward Scissor Hands Bucket :rockon:

Or should it be called the Joda Trifecta Bucket :tup:

Well if you can still add a dabber to the ofz cap without compromising the stability of the cap sitting on the dome then I would love that!

If not the ofz cap alone is more than perfect! I think we are all really happy you got that down! Gonna be a wonderful hit :D
