I am looking to get someone to make me a boro (or if required, quartz) adapter to connect my sublimator heater directly to my oil rig. This heater gets hot, and is a chunk of titanium - as such, it would be good to have a little bit of space between the boro directly touching the heater and the boro directly touching the piece so as not to put too much heat into my oil rig. It will need to have a female 18mm GonG joint on it to connect to my 18mm male di oil rig.
I will not be leaving the heater on top of this all the time, but it will need to withstand the heater sitting on it while I take a dab. The boro connection to the sub will have to be well molded to the shape of the dabmaster heater so that the heater sits in a firm and secure way in the adapter. I can't have a heater falling out of it's receptacle whilst dabbing lol.
Do you think you can do this? I will need super thick, super strong glass. I'd love to get some worked stuff done on it, but not if it compromises the function of a sturdy joint to connect my sub heater directly to oil rig for dabs.
By the way, long time no speak around these parts, hope all is well!!
Here is a picture of me doing what I want to do but using a clumsy 18mm f-f adapter with an 18mm combustion slide (The slide is not a good solution because the heater must be held in place with one hand! The shape of the inside where the sub heater sits is smooth, curved glass which makes the sub not sit snug and fall out!):
Ideally, I would want the heater to be connecting lower down, around the height of the middle joint on the 18mm f-f adapter as pictured. Please let me know if you could help me here and how best to get the measurements required
